Cesar has improved my life on many levels. His wisdom and energy teach me so much about being a dog owner, leader of the pack, taking responsibility, commanding space, being a better husband, father, human. Better planet through better people. That is truly what I think Cesar is all about. He inspires me every time I watch his lessons. Thank you Cesar Milan for giving yourself to the world. His knowledge of dogs, saying that he has knowledge about the whole animal kingdom is a huge reach. These methods for example in this particular video would not work for parrots.

That one sat deep with me too, as I struggle at times with my young horse due to past experiences that have caused nervousness and guardedness in me.

If you're a trainer who hasn't been bit or hasn't been around a dog attack, odds are you purposely stay away from aggressive dogs that need help.

And when they paid for this experience who knew it was a roast. I've seen much worse dogs but he laid into these two....so C. said don't judge people based on race...kinda wonder if he was letting on to his own inner issues towards the guy with the hat. I personally wouldn't want to pay for a whole life talk so my dog walks better on the leash. And my kids aren't going to be raised based on his dog/person opinions. He even brought up raising his kids and kinda mocking the guy liking skate boarding... it's just for fun...hmm tell the paid professionals who earn a living it's just for fun.... this irked me

You can teach tricks but you cannot teach respect without Caeser's psychology. Dogs do not need training , humans do

Both need training. We’re always improving, mistakes are not something to be insecure about. Just because you turn 18 doesn’t mean you know everything. Just like dogs who then 1-2y old doesn’t know everything.

Yes and trust takes time, so patience is also key. So many times people expect an immediate response. We have to EARN their respect and trust...it all falls Into place ...slowly...as we prove we will be consistent and reliable for our animals...hence earning thar trust, and in turn, respect

My best friend has blue crown. Conure, who goes everywhere with her (OK, not everywhere, not to work), including his favorite - beach time. He has his own ‘branch’ of the beach umbrella & more people on our beach, know him then they do me & I’ve lived there since 1997! When she is at home she walks her 2 Chihuahuas w her beautiful boy on her shoulder (he wears a harness w a 15 foot leash, but he’d never leave her shoulder). It’s the coolest thing, I’ve gotten used to it but I’ve seen so many people whose first reaction is always. “is that a real bird?”, to the point that it’s become rather funny. Just a little personal input after seeing this couple walk their 2 dogs & their beautiful bird.

Cesar is not a dog trainer, Cesar is a human trainer. I’m not a dog owner but I only watch Cesar to learn the philosophy of Mother Nature. Every word is a gem, you can apply every lesson for dog owner into your personal, professional and family life.

I am disabled. I injured my back and neck. I had 3 dogs (2 have since crossed the rainbow bridge). The only reason I was able to have them was because of Ceasar's teachings! I don't walk around very well but I still try to get some exercise. My dogs walk at my pace and don't pull me around. I applied everything I have seen and the relationship with my dogs have been special. Thank you Ceasar for sharing your wisdom for all to apply! God bless!

The hardest lesson is not to love them so much you cause misbehavior. You can most certainly love them to pieces, but give guidance. Very much like we should do with our children.

@@escapingmotherhood There's a good interview on Elle with Cesar and Ilusion (Jan 20, 2010), about their early marriage, and how it almost broke up; had to go to counselling. He apparently opened up and learned a lot then. He has referred to that experience in a couple Dog Whisperer episodes. If you search for it, you can find it easy.

This man is spitting facts and wisdom every goddamn second he talks!

It's crazy how everything you say can be applied to humans. Same problems, parents expressing love to kids in an inappropriate way / at the wrong moment, seeing discipline as punishment, kids / dogs becoming stressed and unable to be disciplined. That's real life lessons not just for dog owners

The sound Caesar uses to get a dog's attention and get them to stop focusing on other things is like a "Tschuh!" The one I use is like a "Deh-deh-deh!" His sound and mine both work on children, too. LOL

This generation has arrogance, not confidence. There is a huge difference, I agree that Cesar teaches quiet confidence which is what people need.

I think almost every video or show of Ceasar's that I've watched has made me think of raising children. Just before I married, my dad took me aside to tell me I needed to apply all I'd learned about raising animals ... to raising children. He had taught me to give boundaries and discipline to my pets. ...even my Gerbil! lol Dad said animals and children are always happier when they >know not hugeall all used< to know...but it's been forgotten. Your principles are for life...not just for interacting with our dogs or pets.

Ceasar will almost always bring tears to my eyes because he has such respect for these dogs. I am appalled at the lack of respect dogs seem to get. I just want to Thank Ceasar Milan for his service, for his respect and amazing grace he has given these dogs. Ceasar, YOU ARE LOVED!!!!

@@dagmawiabate8765 Lol. But really, look for what he did to the husky Shadow. And it was just for show. The term "dog whisperer" implies a sympathetic view of the motives, needs, and desires of the dog, based on modern canine psychology. Yes, this is an adapted definition of a "horse whisperer" - where the term ("whisperer") originates. It excludes any violence.

I’ve been watching you for years Cesar and I always learn something new.

I trained my dogs the Dog Whisperer way, I couldn't do it any other way. Now Chris on this episode, how rude was he looking at his cell phone when he is in training. Perhaps, Chris needed the correction!

No, he wasn't taking notes & he wasn't "recording" anything - there are multiple cameras filming, plus the dude filming while standing by the stroller. No need for Chris to record anything w/ his own phone. Instead of turning off all alerts before filming began (like a considerate human would), he obviously got a message & opted to not only read it, but he actually replied to it as well (which blew my mind, quite frankly). These two seemed pretty incapable of doing much of anything that required them to apply discipline, training, consistency, authority, etc. And it's not a reach to assume the way they raise their dogs is the same way they raise their child.

Cesar Milan is absolutely wonderful at what he does. So many dog owners pay a lot of money to animal behaviorists and their dog is still not trained correctly. So sad. Thank you, Cesar, for training our dogs and for training humans, too. We need training as well as our four footed friends. Love you, Cesar!! 💖💖💖

Because of his expertise is gotta be Cesar's way or no way. Cesar's brutal🙃😇 knowledge makes humans, to make this planet a better place!

Great advice on Calmness! It really got me thinking on the way to create a better bond with my dog. Discipline is not punishment. Amen Cesar!
