Hello friends. Today I have for you a very simple recipe for delicious, fragrant, crumbly homemade cookies. Making these cookies is very simple and fast, and I will tell you how to make these cookies beautiful in the course of the video.
So, let's begin.
Put softened butter in a bowl, add a pinch of salt, powdered sugar, vanilla and stir with a spatula until smooth. Now add one egg here and with a whisk again stir everything until smooth. Add starch, baking powder and again stir everything until smooth, still with a whisk. Now add the sifted flour and knead the soft dough first with a spatula and then with your hand. The dough is very soft, but practically does not stick to the hands. We spread the dough in a plastic bag and put it in the refrigerator for half an hour.
And now I will offer you two options for decorating cookies.
You can roll out the dough into a sheet with a thickness of 5 mm. If you do not have any special tools, then you can make a pattern with a meat hammer or squeeze out a pattern with something else. I have special molds that can be used to make beautiful cookie designs. With this shape, you can squeeze out a pattern on a sheet of dough, and then use a figured knife to cut out individual cookies.
But you can use a special cookie press to make individual beautiful cookies at once. To do this, I divided the dough into pieces of 20 g and form cookies in this way. Place the finished cookies on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. We spread the cookies at a small distance from each other.
We remove the baking sheet in the oven preheated to 180 ° for 15 minutes. I turn on both heating elements and convection. Ready-made cookies acquire a light golden hue.
After cooling, the cookies become very crumbly and tender. And thanks to this particular composition of the ingredients, the cookies do not blur during baking and retain the pattern well.
RECIPE:
Butter 200 g
Salt pinch
Powdered sugar 100 g
Vanillin 1.5 g (1 sachet)
Egg 1 pc
Starch 50 g (~2 tablespoons)
Baking powder 7 g (1 sachet)
340 g flour (~2 cups)
