These Canadian Trails Are Absolutely Next Level!! 👌 Powell River BC
Спорт
These were some of the best mountain bike trails I've gotten a chance to ride. The Mt Mahony trails are located in Powell River which is part of BC's Sunshine Coast. While it's physically attached to Mainland Canada, due to the mountainous Geography, it's only accessible via Ferries. Out of all the Mountain bike Trails I got to explore on this trip, Powell river has to be my favorite.

The iPhone in front of the face reminds me of Ricky Bobby's struggle with the Fig Newtons advertisement on his windshield. Great video as always Phil!
Phil: I don’t think you can gap that, it’d be sketchy Also Phil: immediately gaps it
Your abilty of quick-twitch recovery, after full risk blind jumps in to the abyss, is mind blowing.

Great, now lets get him a pump & co2!
This one was pretty high on the Phil giggle-o-meter, must have been a lot of fun!
Phil's channel is one of the few that I hit the like button before I even watch the video.
That looks like a crazy fun place! I couldn't even see the trail, most of the time! Great video! 🤘
phil is exactly the kind of biker to ask a feature what it wants to be when it grows up and then completely ignore it and do whatever he wants with it
I’m just amazed how you traversed those trails at speed. I would be so afraid of smashing into a tree . You’re true pro Phil!
Canada loves having Phil hang out. Stay as long as you want 👍
“That’s how you can tell you have SRAM brakes” 😂 YES DUDE
Cant believe that I’ve lived in Powell river for 2 years and still haven’t gone here. Looks super fun
Although I live near the north shore and all the cool areas around I am ALWAYS AMAZED how you follow the correct line at blazing speed!!! I know I'd take the "NONLINE" and cartwheel off a cliff or into a tree!!!
You are an absolute animal. I can't fathom how you rip through these places blind. I have also learned when phil starts laughing things are getting sketchy LOL
Then noises you make when excited take me back to my local trails in milliseconds 👊🤠👍🔥💯
Gorgeous ride! One of my favorite SWP videos. Thanks for sharing!
holy crap! whatta zone! whatta trail! whatta video!! stoked you hit the teeter-totter!
Always cheers me up to watch your videos. Great bike handling on challenging and interesting trails and parks, and with fun and enjoyment as the main motivations. Video quality is very good.
Awesome videos from BC, you're always welcome in Canada Phil!
one of the best mtb videos of 2022 right here, Phil. Well done.
This looks absolutely bonkers! So awesome to see these trails shredded!
The energy here gives me a sanctuary vibe
Love the riding and the colors. So nice!👍👍
The noise of rubber on slats. Always in my heart.
This might be the best trail I’ve EVER seen. WOW. Thanks for this I love it
Hey Phil, I can’t get over how smooth your bike goes over the trail. great video..
Amazing trails and beautiful riding as always. Great video Phil!❤
Looks like great trails and awesome people. Please more from BC with these guys.
absolutely gorgeous view, insane spot to put a sick trail system!
hey Phil love your videos and just wanted to say you were one of the people that first got me into mountain bikeing and now i am racing I guess i just wanted say thanks😁
This guy is insane, he makes it look so easy.
So much fun to watch!!!
so glad Bc is my home.. i can go 15 minutes in any direction and always find something new to ride
When Phil starts to giggle, I know I will never be able to ride that. :-)
Phil those trails looked insane and what’s even better good company. Great videos
They really do know!
This is such impressive warp speed. When it looks this steep and gnarly on video it must be nuts. Also Phil, I'm watching the channel for the first time in a while. I noticed your speech is really clear! I'm not sure if this is something you had to work on, but this is a great improvement and cool video. Congrats!
Those trails really good fun! Awesome video as always 😁
Place looks so fun!! Nice video Phil!
What a set of trails. Must have been amazing out there. Nice riding bro🤘🏻
Probably the best video on your channel!
I would like to see you go on a ride with Remy Metalier...that would make a great video 👌
Thanks so much for the after work recovery video!
Thanks for sharing bro!
this is my home town phil! so cool too see you ride there.
Mad riding Phil and gang, 👍👍
That looks incredible!!
Vermont is great but these trails just look like steps above trails around here. So good!
This BC content is so good. More please!
I can’t stop watching how epic these trails are and I live here (BC) 😃
Incredible trails!!
Wow there's some awesome looking riding in Powell River. I had only known about the flatter XC stuff closer to town, Mt Mahony looks awesome, will have to get back up there.
You should meet up with Remy, Phil!! You too would be awesome to watch shredding together 🙏🏼🙏🏼
These BC videos have been amazing. Glad you get to check out my home province!
great video, those trails look next level
you made it look so easy. 🔥
the last few videos from Vancouver Island have all been super good in every aspect.
some nice trail work in there !
Watching this took me straight back to Endor and the speeder bike chase scenes..... LOL
Phil rides trails faster on his first time than locals on their 50th. Just incredible to see his skills
This was such a FUN video! I'm already loving the recent videos as a BC boy, but this was just beyond in how fun it was. Also a huge thank you for adding in the various geographical contexts as well. Any plans to come to Kamloops or any of the interior sites?
Loving these videos from BC! Would love to see some follow cam of Phil if that's even possible 😂
I absolutely love ur laugh!
Hey Phil, you ever have any strange encounters while Biking out in the middle of the woods? That would make for a cool video topic. Keep making awesome videos man!

Grizzly bears lurking in BC. You do not want to run into one mountain biking the trails.
any trail Phil shreds is his favorite ever.
That hip is wild!
Glad you’re enjoying my daily playground.
love these videos, i love riding bikes around the city for hours but i don't know if i would ever be able to drive such trails
Yay Phil’s in Canada!
Next level indeed!
Awesome!
I have been here. I also road the same trails as Phil. These trails are amazing
Some of those wood features look sick

Me too
Phil you're right about people gravitating towards MTB after other bike sports. I've been a moto guy my whole life, I went to Snowshoe last year to watch the races and ride the next day with my brother who was working there at the time. I had so much fun that day, didn't crash, caught a little air, epic. After just one time I would gladly sell my dirt bikes to get into MTBing if I had a closer trails. Unfortunately I'm in Central TN now and all the spots are several hours east. That's really the only thing stopping me from going all in.
Class trails, epic video as always, some shredding dude, thx for sharing. Next level quality. Good to see the Rossignol in action, wondering how it holds up?
watching this from my place in powell river.. yep... .. yep.... there's a reason i moved here. thanks for the reminder

@@SkillsWithPhil the biking community is really strong here. there are guys who literally spend 4 or 5 days a week trail building - shout out to the chain gang!
Love the vid
Awesome
I live there! Such a great town!
phil doing it with ease, me screaming the hole way
"clearing the trail for you guys" - god youre amazing :D
The sniper puddle at the end. 😂 Surrey hills in the uk has loads.
Powell River, half of the fun is just getting there with all the ferries you have to take and the fantastic scenery along the way. You gotta love BC

Totally agree with you on that!
lol I live in BC and was like that tree is small bahaha. glad he said it too
definitely gotta make your way to silver mountain bike park, and beacon hill in Spokane Washington!
That's some awesome downhill single track. Maybe one day if I could make it to the west coast.
17:08 good guy phil patting own tire ruts
love it
The comedic timing, intentional or not, at 5:09 is absolutely hilarious
I'm a local here on Vancouver island and would recommend heading over to the jordie lunn bike park. They just opened 4 new trails
I hope you do north shore trails. I think you would really enjoy them
Shaming the SRAMs, but having just done a complete refresh on my bike and my wife's bike - the Shimanos are the ones that were cranky about me not being surgical with the rebuild...
"I don't think I'd want to gap that because it kind of turns"...Gaps it. 🤣
Phil 2 minutes after coming back East.. Honey the house is now for sale! We are moving to Canadia hey!
