I had the red pair from 1998. Even to this day, they are the best pair of boots I have ever had. Also they lasted forever, I wore mine from 1998 - 2001.

Off subject but I went to big 5 and saw the hypervenom phatal 1 silver neymer color and the mercurial veloce 2 in the red colorway, Im very surprised I found these because theyre old but which one would you prefer ?

It would really depend on what type of fit and feel that you're looking for. You've named 3 version different boots. I personally like the Pred X, but it depends on what you're looking for.

Hey josh, got a question about the tiempo legend 7. I presume you’ve used it a far bit and had them for a while, so my question is: does the leather split away from the sole plate like it did on the legend 6 without much wear? Thanks

When my dad was younger he would tie the laces from under the sole plate and onto the tongue to keep it folded down

I liked power boots a lot, but the vast majority of consumers did not, or at least that is what the sales reflected. From a business standpoint, it totally makes sense that they went away. It was a style of boot that nobody, or at least not enough people, wanted anymore.

thanks Josh, I manage to buy a size 11UK for 315EUR... I would have preferred a size 10.5 considering that these are leather boots (which will stretch even more) and the bad experience of the ACE 16.2 I bought (in size 11UK which are too big and caused terrible blisters)... anyways like you said these are collectors boots and as 15 year old in 98 I wanted these boots so bad and finally got the chance to buy them
