I am a type 1 diabetic so I used a low carb carbalose flour and fried them in coconut oil. Very good and didn't spike my blood sugar! Thanks for this recipe!

Coconut Oil!!!!! Excellent idea!!! I was JUST lamenting that I can't tolerate seed oils and flour. WIthin two comments I found a West Indian who used oats instead of wheat and now I have you who used coconut oil instead of seed oil! Maybe I can make these after all!!!! Thank you for commenting.

I just made these and the house smells heavenly. Two of them fell apart because they needed to cook longer before turning them over so I ate them with salsa. Yum, in Tucson, Arizona we put salsa on nearly everything. In about 5 hours I will make the sauce and have 2 more. I can hardly wait.

OMG ! Yes I made this. And I can tell you, it's good. Coming from a WEST INDIAN background, we modify recipes. I added baby spinach, soaked chia seeds and soaked flaxseed. I also blended oats instead of regular flour. No guilt, a very healthy alternative. I only had vanilla Greek yogurt, lol, but I used it. Thank you.

This recipe is so good that's why I changed everything about it and made something else, and you should make this recipe too cause I didn't make it... I get you wanting to make additions or changes to match your tastes but if you didn't actually try this recipe first(which maybe you did but didn't mention) then it's kinda hard to take your word about it. Your ideas may be good additions and people do want to know them but you didn't make this recipe. Your wording starts by saying you made it but as you read on it keeps talking about all the changes you made. Everyone makes their own versions of recipes, you being west Indian (or any other backround) isn't what made you change it, it's just a tidbit about yourself, which is fine but not why you changed it. So I'm good with sharing your ideas of additions/changes because I do use these ideas, I'm good with you telling us your background, but to say THIS recipe is good because of what you made is different.

This can also be spread in a tray and baked in the oven ❤

WOW MAN ! Sounds trippy. LOL. As an ex-hippie, I approve this modified recipe. Far out.

I did this but I used 3" round cookie molds in the fry pan just to make turning easier and to keep uniformed shape, easier for storage containers after. I reheated in microwave for 30 seconds on a plate with paper towel under them so they stayed crisper. They stayed fresh in fridge for 3 days.

@@LuNa_1_3_1 i If your microwave has a reheat or melt butter setting use that and it keeps foods from being rubbery/ tough. Sometimes if fresh bread goes stale ( and without mold ) A barely damp paper towel laid over the top while heating will soften. Your Cat is adorable 🐱

A couple of takeaways from trying the recipe today: cabbage, onions and carrots need to be chopped fine. Needs another tablespoon of flour to help bind them together. Other than than you must follow the recipe exactly or the parties will fall apart. Flavor is wonderful but getting patties that stick together is the challenge.

Sheila, all of us with gluten allergies are good on Barley with it's gluten. Check on your reaction. Persons in extreem candida overgrowth may need to wait a while.

Hello, I make these often as an anytime snack but with grated cheese mixed in, they are so good. It is nice to see someone else doing them. Often experiment with different veggies to make tasty fritters, it is so quick, healthy and tasty

Dear brothers and sisters, what are you waiting for? Are you waiting for God to appear?) Almighty God said ALL PEOPLE are CONNECTED to a PURPOSE of My WORK. On EARTH, that is, the FINAL purpose of My WORK and WHAT level I must achieve in this WORK before it becomes COMPLETE. When I have BEEN with Me UNTIL this DAY, people STILL DON'T CONCERN what My WORK is about, if you DON'T HAVE any SIGNIFICANCE for them to be with Me? Although there are many extraordinary things that belong to My WORK, the purpose of this WORK is not accepted to CHANGE, just as for example EVEN THOUGH I am FULL of JUDGMENT and CHASTISEMENT of PEOPLE, what I do is for the SAKE of the BETTER that IMPLEMENTS My CHANGE and further EXPANSION of My WORK to ALL GENTILE NATIONS, when a PERSON is MADE PERFECT. ☀️ So NOW, at a TIME when many PEOPLE have long FAILED in their HOPES I STILL CONTINUE in My WORK, CONTINUE in My WORK that I SHOULD do JUDGE and PUNISH people. You should KNOW, that when My WORK EXPANDS, I will SCATTER you, and I will ELIMINATE you, as JEHOVAH ELIMINATED a TRIBE of ISRAEL. ☀️ All of this will be used by Me to be used throughout the world, and to spread My work among the Gentile nations, when My NAME may be EXALTED by the OLD and CHILDREN alike, and My HOLY NAME is EXPLAINED by the MOUTHS of PEOPLE from ALL TRIBES and NATIONS. In this FINAL AGE, My NAME WILL be TAKEN to the GENTILE NATIONS, because the GENTILES will SEE My WORKS, that I use My PROMISE ALL POWERFULLY because of My WORKS, and My WORD can do it NEARLY FULFILLED I will make ALL people KNOW that I am NOT ONLY the GOD of the USERS, but ALSO the GOD of ALL the NATIONS of the GENTILES, even MINE WHO are CURSED: I will LET ALL people SEE that I am the GOD of FULL CREATION. Funny- How can he be in Germany and not be exposed to every way of cooking cabbage. I'm old and my parents escaped from Germany and Russia in WWll era..so cabbage in some form was standard fare.. One of my favorites is red cabbage and apples. Hope long distance works out!!!

i've already made these and had to use gluten free flour just use it like normal flour and you should have on problems

I love your ideas, and if you have a partner they must be very happy indeed. I have made these today, but I added mung beans as that's what I would have eaten before seeing this video 😁 Also no paprika here, so used chopped chillies instead. All sitting in the fridge to cook tonight. Thank you
