These Beaver Ponds were LOADED with HUGE Trout! (Fly Fishing for Brown Trout)

In this video Andrew spent 4 weeks fishing for 1 huge brown trout in a tiny creek!!
This creek has a unique set of beaver ponds that allows the wild brown trout inside of them to grow far larger than they ever would in the tiny creek they inhabit. Andrew spent several weeks targeting one fish that was over 20 inches before eventually catching one of the big brown trout in the ponds. Fly fishing for these brown trout with 7x tippet and tiny size 20 or smaller dry flies was a blast! Dry fly fishing for big brown trout never gets old.
Thank you so much for watching!!

Far different from the beaver ponds of New England but one thing never changes. The best day to fish them is the overcast and light rain ones. In ours an 8in Brook is a giant and roll casting is a must if you want any gear left. Sitting on a stump in the rain casting to those natives is an experience. An explanation of the gear your using for each of these awesome video's would be nice including the flies your casting
