So Sheik is from The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time. He's the last remaining member of a clan that acted as the royal family's protectors for ages. Partial way through the game, Link gets tricked by Ganondorf and Sheik acts as a sort of guide for Link, teaching him songs needed to solve puzzles, giving hints and talking about what Ganondorf has been getting up too Meanwhile Olimar is from Pikmin. Hes an astronaut from the planet Hocotate who crash landed on the planet PNF-404. On PNF he found a species that are great at doing odd jobs and terrible at combat strategy. With that Olimar recruits hundreds of pikmin to take down there usual natural predators and repopulated the species' numbers while also getting their aid to reconstruct his broke ship before his oxygen runs out

LOL if you ever do this for Ultimate, it'll be an hour long, but I must say they DO look nicer/cleaner (mostly) and they're all faster rather than long for the most part since Sakurai said he wanted people to "get back to the fighting faster" Ok, some of them like Sephiroth are basically cutscenes still LOL. A bunch of them are quite different from their Brawl-counterparts, so it's worth checking out too!

While there are some cloned ones they all actually have some differences. For example the tanks: Fox's is slow but strong, Falco's is fast but weak and Wolf's is fast _and_ strong but doesn't last as long.

So the reason Zelda & Sheik's are the same is because they're the same character as a holdover from when Melee used Ocarina of Time Zelda as the aesthetic (Sheik being Ocarina Zelda in a disguise is basically the Legend of Zelda equivalent of "Luke I am your father"). You switch between the two with one of the special move inputs (the games after this one would actually make them completely separate character slots which both gave them new specials in that input & in Ultimate, brand new Final Smashes) And yeah while Smash 4 onward would have Samus in & out of her Power Suit as separate slots, Brawl (the first to have Zero Suit Samus as a playable character) just made them the same slot but with the only way to switch being the Final Smash

The Olimar guy is from a game called Pikmin. He goes to another planet and collects these plant like aliens that helps defend him against insect monsters. His games are pretty unique.

Would love to see you react to Marvel vs Capcom Hyper Combos. Especially Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3's, those are incredible.
