THESE are the RAREST Porsches in the World!
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
918 Spyder, Carrera GT, 911 GT1, 959! You name it, they are all here! Porsche is a brand with huge history and status, and at their home in Stuttgart you can find some of the very best super sports road cars and race cars. From the modern greats to the racing 917, 962, 956 and a huge amount of history from the early days and success of the 356.
On arrival at the Porsche Museum I'm greeted by the brand new Tubo S Exclusive Series, now with 607hp and limited to just 500 cars. Before even making it inside a yellow 918 Spyder casually rolls along the road in e-Mode. Then miraculously I find myself behind the wheel of a GT3 RS, one of the finest track cars for the road, then it's finally into the museum to take a look at the history of Porsche.
Thanks to Philipp and Oliver for the drive! / flipper0711 / oliverjuhnke
Thanks for watching, Tim

Robin Holmquist because, imho, the old 911s are almost/ just as good looking as the ferraris but they are far more accessible. + when you drive them you're not driving around in a €3+million car

Georges J huh.. Then i Think Mercedes is the best becouse they invented the car.. without them and porsche the car would have been different then it is with them..
Came here for the GT1-98. :-) Mulsanne record is the Peugeot-WM 88 @ 407 kph, FYI.
Carrera GT was my favorite car back then. Still looks good enough to be 2017 sports car lol

High Score and it still has three pedals the way they all should be .
Thanks for that tour. You just saved me about 5,000 dollars
THANK YOU for pronouncing Porsche with an 'e' at the end! It always bothers me that many english speakers just call it 'Porsh' which sounds to me as a german so completely wrong..

When I took a young German man for a ride in my Toyota MR2 several years ago he was surprised that a priest such as myself owned such a sporty car. I asked him how to correctly pronounce the word "Porsche", not knowing that I would soon be the owner of a Carrera 911. I've finally seen the factory where my Porsche was crafted.

Yeah, it is really good to have an English native speaker pronounce it correctly, with nearly every other youtuber my ears start to bleed after a few minutes. I once asked a youtuber why he leaves the e at the end and he said because it was European and than I had to tell him that we aren't the French and don't leave letters at the end unpronounced.
@betaich

Sources? Also it is Porsche and Tim got it quite right for an Englishmen. The problem with the e at the end is simply because of his accent and the problem with the sch sound is because English doesn't have a real equivalent. Also most English speaking youtubers say Porch or something similar so Tim is more on the spot then most.
@MarcoVenustus

He also said "Nordschleife" with the E at the end. Is that how it is supposed to be pronounced?

Amazing place! - Thanks for sharing Tim - Automotive Heaven!👍👍🐝
And don't forget about the Mercedes Museum "if you're ever there". I only had the opportunity to visit the Mercedes one the last time I was in Stuttgart so thanks for showing around what I had missed!
My god, best episode ever, been to the old museum but not this one must visit, and Shmee, there is a lot of Porsches missing in your garage.
I didn’t want to watch the whole video being over 10 minutes but I couldn’t stop watching it… good job!
Beautiful museum. Thanks for sharing Shmee!
Awsome place, have been there last year with my dad after his purchase of a Cayman Black Edition. Also visited the factory, also very interesting!!

even though ive been there multiple times, i still watched this. APPRECIATE THIS TIM :D
My favourite Porsches are the 918 spyder, the Carrera GT, the 996 911 GT1 and the 911 GT1

Thank you Shmee for this great video and you let all of the miles, inches, pounds and pines per half an hour back at your home. Great
Great video as always. Please keep up the great work.
Great video! Porsche really has it figured out. Fast, handling is superior, relatively affordable, and you can put 250,000 miles on them. The absolute complex performance car, and they have been doing it for for decades!
Nice application Video for an 991.2 GT3 :-)
Very nice videos, buddy. Subscribed!
Porsche heaven Tim, amazing all that different models and history, thanks for sharing Shmee , Porsche dealer and factory near by 😲😲😲😲😲😲😂😛😜😛😂😛😜😛😂😛😜😂😛😜
Love your commentary. Lots of good info.
Tx for the tour!!!

no way he didn't ruin it you could that he enjoyed it. always love the random shout outs when they keep it cool
This video shows that you know something about older cars than from 2007. Great for us who prefer cars from the 70's 80's and 90's.
Subbed. thanks Shmee for the great tour and all your hard work. Keep it up. Peace.
@Shmee150 Do you know why the early race cars had such thin but tall tires? Was it because of rulings or did nobody know that wider tires give more grip and overall a better performance? I really like this kind of videos! Good job Shmee150.
Thanks Schmee. Great vid.
Nobody ever shows the greatest Porsche ever when they do Porsche museum tours. The 944 Turbo.
Whenever I finally get around to going to Germany for a holiday this will be my first, and possibly last stop. I wonder if they would let me pitch a tent and camp inside........ Porsche history, design and quality have always intrigued me. My favorite car manufacturer hands down. If I could own any car it would be the Porsche 550a Spyder then I would have a replica of the first 356 shown in the museum, one that I could actually drive without worrying about wrecking :) There is just something about sports/race cars from the 40s and 50s that I am in love with.
Waau. I shook my head the whole video. I don't have words. Mental sums it up. Thanks Shmee for exposing paupers like me to such an amazing facility. Life's too short not to own a Porsche.
love yo vids keep up the good work
1:13 "Silently blasting away" lol haahahha 😂
My fav has to be the 959... for its time .. amazing!! thanks Shmee
What a fascinating museum! Also a very good museum review.
Great video as always👍👌
Awesome video Tim, makes me want to visit Porsche Museum soon :)
It's a "buffet" of Porsches, a Porsche lovers dream! Another one of my all-time favorite brands of "whips"! The Carreras and the Spyders are the best Porsches!
Been here a few years back. Fun fact about the Martini 918: it's the actual 918 which did the 6:57 lap. It's slightly damaged as a result. Authentic, and great.
Thank you Shmee for a fantastic tour, again. Porsche please take note; try to repeat a similar museum in the Southern Hemisphere. I can not imagine that these treasures might get destroyed in a semi holocaust.
This is THE only CGT I would consider even close to my red CGT. Love the liquid silver w/ the ascot interior.
damn a Porsche episode, couldn't be asking for another type of content today.

Excellent content! Thnx!
Man it's taking forever for you to reach 1 million. What's taking these fans so long.
We had a wonderful tour of this amazing collection
That 918 with the liquid silver paint was amazing and your almost at 1 million subscribers!
GT, GT, GT, GT1, GT2, GT3, Turbo, Turbo S, ok! Fire engine ?!
959.. The car that changed it all. And my all time favourite car period.
5:50 probably the best car in the museum
You forgot the rotating 911 turbo's and the row of the GTS-Models ^^, anyway great video ! :)
Tim is very good at this type of video- fascinating.
best video ever!!! love porsche
Great video!
great video, love shmee150. I do agree with him that is arm span is quite impressive but I don't think he has to show it off in every of his thumbnails though!
Just have a look at the rarest Porsche in this video clip is REALLY VERY happy enough to me eventhough I don't own it. Wow!
Awesome Shmee...you so need a 911 in your garage!
Wow. I would love to go there!
Stoked to see you tomorrow :)
You have a very good knowledge of cars
I can't even watch this video without pausing it every 20 seconds 😍
been there, loved it
Would love too have seen you go about that museum for a full hour

Master Bottle Transsyberia is special, but is the old model, the funny is because this Cayenne has manual gearbox
Nothing compares to the pedigree of both road and race cars from Porsche.!!
What I find interesting is that the CGT is the only Porsche model that has this 'round-cornered brick' design from front to end and wheelbase to pillars. And not only that, it is also the only model that actually shows similarities to where Koenigsegg started of with: CCX. This same 'round-cornered brick' design, what was an alternative approach for Porsche, became the foundation of the Koenigsegg cars.
Been there 2 or 3 times. Last time I saw a carerra GT on the road just outside the museum, made for a really cool photo.
The carrera gt will never look old
Love your videos Shmee your cars are🔥🔥🔥
Tim, you are close to 1'000'000 subs, you better prepare yourself for a very special video on the gt8 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
great video!!!
