I wanted to share with you what I think is the ultimate experience I've had playing Madden with your sliders. I have modified them some and I wanted to share them with you. I guarantee they really are realistic and very competitive. Let me know what you think 🤔. I'll just list the numbers in the order they're listed to save space Player Skill 10, 0, 53, 5, 25, 0, 10, 0, 55 CPU Skill 13, 0, 53, 7, 25, 0, 10, 0, 65 Game Options 10, 85, 0 Penalties 65, 30, 99, 60, 25, ON, ON, 60, Off, 50, Off, On, On, I'm telling you bruh, I'm playing with the Seahawks and I just played a nail biter vs the Bengals that went into OT with me stopping them on 4th and goal to win. I felt like I've was watching a real game cause it was intense. The stats afterwards were reasonable and there was no cheesing plays between myself or the CPU. With those sliders the CPU had a good balance between run and pass with a good number of deep passes that challenged my secondary. Overall, I'm satisfied with these sliders.... wish I would found your channel sooner but I'm thankful for the base with minor adjustments. Peace

Great video, I really enjoyed the tid bits you gave explaining how to get certain things (lower defensive pass interface to get better coverage) and I think a video explaining the sliders like that would be cool!

Thank you so much!! I agree but I've learned people prefer shorter videos. I usually have to record this 2 or 3 times because on the first try I go very in depth and the video comes out twice as long and people don't have that retention span. They just want the sliders lol

Yoo I don’t know if u tested this but I have been testing trying to get the cpu to call more run plays. It used to work perfectly fine a month ago. I could run 15 minute quarters the quarterback would end with in between 27 and 35 passes with 20 to 30 runs. Now I can’t figure it out no matter what I do. I figured out offensive scheme matching with the qb archetype as well as the playbook makes them actually call smarter plays but they still throw too much. I think Sliders also affect it like pass coverage and reaction time and injuries Witt fatigue. If u got any ideas let me know cuz I’m funna give up Madden ass Bru

So I based my sliders off yours a while ago, but I prefer a defensive games that are close so I have qb accuracy still at 5 for both human/cpu. I have both blocking at 0 for both human/cpu. And we catching at 40 for both again. The only major difference I have is I have reaction time and coverage for both human and cpu at 100. Madden can’t replicate real coverage rules or player instinct so I think the defenses need all the help they can get. But I also play 15 minute quarters. So to keep games realistic and not have games go to 40 points every game I have my league more defensive. I’m also tired of having my good defense teams give up 30 points a game. I play with the Steelers and I’ve only given up a couple 30 point games to good teams like the ravens and 49er’. Most teams I hold to 20 or less. How ever I do have low completion percentage with 5 qb accuracy especially with more drops by receivers. But my starting qb is Mason Rudolph who is like a 68. And I’m throwing 53% over the season. But that’s also because I like pushing the ball down field.

Idk if this has been an issue but if you quick play and keep restarting the game and never go back to team selection page, you will experience progressive fatigue.

I had to come back to this video and give you a big kudos for these sliders as well as your settings. I've have been playing madden since the early 200s and I love football as well, so simulation style football games are what I'm into. I've used slider settings from different yt channels and Madden forums over the yrs but I must say your sliders make a significant difference in how the players interact with each other. There's much more phyisics based collisions, and its a bummer that the tweaks to the settings and sliders aren't more wide know for the simulation footballl heads. I swear it can change your madden experience. It's also baffling that the devs don't make it known as well that their game can be adjusted to give a more sim based experience. Hell, maybe they don't even know. Madden still has its warts of course. But with your tweaks its much more playable than it has been in YEARS!

I like these sliders overall, but the two main issues are with pass protection and my user qb accuracy. What do you recommend I do if I’m not getting any time in the pocket? So far I’ve played 3 games and in all games my completion percentage has been low due to bad accuracy on pretty open receivers or no time in the pocket and long routes not being able to develop. The CPU coverage is pretty good too especially in zone.

Are you adjusting your line pre snap? What pass setting are you using? Should be power, not accuracy.

I love your sliders so far been using them for awhile but is there a way to tone down how many passing plays the cpu calls, I’m not sure what changed but I’ve gotten a few games now where they have over 30 attempts in one half which is crazy

Yeah that happens every now and then. I'm not sure what causes it. I think it's just Madden being Madden

I was about to come comment saying these sliders work great but the only issue I have been noticing (especially on my team) is the o line was getting pushed around too easy. I barely had any time to throw the ball, even when I raised false start up 5. But I just saw your pinned comment about fixing offsides down to 30 so I assume that helps with the instant wins from the d line?

Question just to make sure I understand. Im getting absolutely burnt in coverage. I know you said in the sliders to crank up DPI. Will that also tighten up coverage for CPU? I guess im a little confused on this particular slider.

Yes, it will go do it for both. I recommend setting your CB matchups by overall each game and playing match zone coverage. I also recommend only picking "contain QB scramble or defend short pass" for your defense gameplanning

Big fan of the channel. Question, is there a way to get more penalties called? Because the gameplay is playing pretty smooth but I'm only seeing 1 maybe 2 penalties called in a game

Get EA to change the code. Even when we were on simulation style only a few penalties actually get called or impacted by the slider. Mostly block in the back, roughing the passer, offsides and false start. I pretty much made the choice to have better gameplay rather than reduce gameplay for only 1 or 2 more penalties per game

When we make the franchise do we do the settings (the screen where you can make a custom coach) or do we leave it default until we get in?

Finally i dont have to deal wit madden bs plays

Playing very smooth but my main issue is the user pass defense. I usually play as the Jets who have a good pass D so any adjustments you'd recommend to tighten that up? I switch my defenses up, have my top corner on the top wideout but it seems like I'm giving up so many completions to wide open receivers. Thanks for the work!

Question . Do you go to coach settings in game and set your corner back matchups by overall? Do you set your zones to match coverage? That definitely helps me. And I don't know if you saw in the video where I talk about DPI. If you want better coverage, you can lower that setting. It will increase the CPU pass coverage as well though

I turn my defense reaction and coverage up to 100 instead of zero for both human and cpu. I find anything less and your DBs and linebackers in coverage don’t do jack shit. WRs still get open and you can still throw it just means to have to read coverages faster and have slightly smaller windows. But it also means that like Danniel jones isn’t going 330 at 75% completion percentage on you defense. I find that most qbs against my defense are around 60 to 65%. But I also have wr catching down to 40 and qb accuracy to 5. This is so when your defense is being stupid and just watches someone run past them for no apparent reason, or your player glitches into another you might get a lucky drop by the offensive or catch you a break. But I also have the same settings for human, so I have had some unfortunate drops on offense. But it keeps my games lower scoring. But I still average 32 points a game. But I’m also good at madden.

I actually was having that same issue in that my pass defense was still bad even after I adjusted zone coverage to match, corners by overall, and dipping PI. So I did what Kai did and adjusted coverage and pass reaction but that didn't seem to really nail it. Then I reloaded it again but this time dropped PI to 10 and upped false start to 70 and kept corners and zone to default. That combined with the QB edits changed the game. My defenders were definitely playing smarter pass D and I even had a few guys dive for pass breakups which I haven't seen much of. Kai is probably a much better Madden player than I am (not much time every night with two young kids) so I'm looking for a set I can come back to after a few days to a week and this is definitely it. I'd say tweak around with the suggestions SGN provides and you'll get there. One question though...do you think interceptions should go up? With the pass defense being better my guys dropped a couple of easy ones over the 10+ games I tested. Then again I'm a former CB so I think they should catch everything haha.

First, double check you have every setting correct in the main menu, and in franchise. Including the auto subs. (I recommend a slider reset as well) If they are exactly how I have them and it's still, somehow happening. Raise false start and lower offsides

I appreciate the response. I was pretty thorough in replicating the sliders but I will double check when I get home. I only played a preseason game and I will say it was noticeably harder once the starters were out lol!

I’m halfway through the season and my qb is missing easy underneath throws. It’s almost like fatigue is taking over and causing these. Also my line will just not hold blocks at all what sliders should I mess with in order to get these two things fixed because at this point I can’t even hit someone who is wide open more than 10 yards down the field. I am not sure if it’s just my qb being a low ovr or my line sucking but I just cannot figure this out to save my life. Hopefully someone has an answer!

Been reducing fatigue after they broke it. Try 55 or 60

Is there any adjustments for my secondary to pick off the ball. I have players who should force turnovers due to the qb being pressured however either they blatantly drop the ball or are running out of position. Note the CPU on the other hand had none of these issues and picks off passes and that are thrown in similar fashion. I used all of your setting and sliders and I’m trying to not user catch but I’m looking for balance between the cpu and me.

No, it made sense. Madden dropped an update so now you just need to edit the traits. You don't have to follow that old video

This is the first slider set that I've seen with quarterback accuracy right around where I keep it. Literally everyone else has user at around 50 and I dont understand it. Cant wait to try these out tonight!

*QUESTION... being that your sliders are different on franchise than on the main menu if I was playing against another person on quick play which sliders would be kicking in the ones where all the Human and CPU skill is 0 or the ones on Franchise.... Thanks and your sliders are A+ 💪💪

Another issue I been noticing is my tackles on offense are constantly getting beat by the cpu edge rushers, regardless of their rating. When I look at the replay sometimes my OTs just are slow and miss the rusher, other times they get pancaked, and these are below average edge rushers btw. I raised false start by 5 already, should I go higher? Only reason I ask is because I am not getting much of a pass rush from my own guys so I didn’t want to raise it if it will make my own rushers worse.

So I’ve been using these for months and overall i like them. Ive even changed the offsides to 30. I do CPU vs CPU Franchises and My only issues is that my QB does good most games and then there are games where he throws like 3-4 INTs out of no where. Also my O-line, while being one of the best if not the best in the league can’t seem to give the QB at least 4 secs throw before he has to escape the pocket. Pressure is like instant. Now my front 7 is one of the best if not the best in the league with a 3-4 defense and rn in my franchise we can barely get pressure. Idk it’s like the opposing team just always seems better off with the sliders rather than us. Even tho it’s cpu vs cpu. My teams ratings are the best in the league by a long shot. Offense and defense. So I’m not understanding if ratings are supposed to shine more with these sliders

Everyone noticed that after the patch. I dropped it to 65 today and it wasn't bad. Might go a little lower even. Make sure you have progressive fatigue turned off

Has anyone had issues with punters punting 80 yards in CPU CPU sim? I have turned power down, and it does not affect it. It does effect it to the user though. Also I was getting way too many sacks at 60 false start, but you are telling us to move it down to 30. Should I move it up to 70?

I use these settings and it helps it makes me have hella fun in franchise mode i also used the texans and it took me 3 seasons to reach the playoffs with year one and 2 records being 7-10 and 9-8 year 3 was 11-6 because i got better defensive players so it helped and year one i had the worst rushing attack and one of the worst offenses and sometimes i got carried by the defense or kickers

You don't. Community files only bring sliders into the main menu. You need to follow the video and do EXACTLY as I have it for the main menu and inside franchise

Auto subs never have.. Sliders don't penalties don't either. Not sure why the settings don't though

Main menu settings impact gameplay in franchise. I don't want certain things impacted by the main menu

I’ll say, settings are good for the most part besides the QB accuracy. Put it on 40. It’s an NFL football game the players can throw the ball. Accuracy on anything less makes QBs throw worse than a middle school kid

Can anyone help me with fatigue or rub subs Arron jones gets like 4/5 carries then be out until like 4th quarter but aj Dillon will come out a few plays for 3rd rb then back in the game

Do you set coaching adjustments to matchup via ovr? Set zone depth to match coverage. I mix it up too. Don't press your corners if you aren't blitzing. Generating pressure is very key. It will force bad throws. Make sure you are doing the CPU QB edits as well

I felt like I've was watching a real game cause it was intense. The stats afterwards were reasonable and there was no cheesing plays between myself or the CPU. With those sliders the CPU had a good balance between run and pass with a good number of deep passes that challenged my secondary. Overall, I'm satisfied with these sliders.... wish I would found your channel sooner but I'm thankful for the base with minor adjustments. Peace

That's great man!! The sliders are designed to be tweaked. They are a base. There is no 1 slider set fits all as everyone has a different skill in the game and the teams everyone is using will be different. Making some small changes at the individual level is encouraged.

Question. What slider do I move to have my secondary play tighter coverage, they're reacting slow and after the reciever catches the ball. I don't wanna cheese but I want it more realistic

Hmmm, interesting… my favorite setting this year has been the play call limits, I think that adds a strategic element to play calling, making sure you don’t call the same plays all the time and don’t lean too heavily on your gameplan plays, keeping opposing teams off balance. Great suggestion, love that setting. I’m also intrigued by the competitive game style in franchise, I’ve been on sim forever and I know competitive usurps ratings with user skill but i thought that was more impactful when playing online, especially since in franchise I’m playing on all madden. Theoretically, shouldn’t the CPU be at peak competitive performance, causing player to then adjust sliders for realism and evenness of play? From a slider standpoint, I honestly can’t see how the penalty sliders effect stuff like sacks, ints, or pursuit angles. I don’t get the logic behind that at all tbh… I do have roughing the kicker off, but I keep roughing the passer at 50, anything above that is god awful. And I’m with you on intentional grounding being off, I started that last year based off your advice. Not a fan of the archetype changes, I just don’t see where that comes into play. QBs that scramble, scramble. QBs that dink and dunk do so as well. QBs throw the ball away as needed just fine. It feels inauthentic to change the way a player acts on field just for gameplay purposes, IMO. I’ve legitimately had games mimic real life, down to the stats and final score on multiple occasions. I play 8 games per week, across 4 different franchise saves with a team from each division, so I’ve seen a lot variation this year that felt authentic to the real NFL games. And 12 minute quarters with a 18 sec accel clock is a long ass game bro lol! 13 or 14 seconds should be just fine, allowing for about 13-17 plays per team, per quarter. NFL average is about 15/16 plays per quarter. Either way, you’ll def still get NFL-like stats on a shorter accel clock. You’ve got good ideas and slides man, I’d really love to partner with you on getting perfect sliders out to the people, like an actual definitive realism edition of sliders. At least bounce ideas with and compare gameplay. Like for real! I rock with you man.

The archetype changes are not required anymore, simply the traits. But it was because the QBs would not take off and run if they had a wide open area. They would instead attempt some crazy throw or take a sack. Even what are considered non mobile QBs will take off and scramble when necessary. The changes were not to make Kirk cousins try to be Justin Fields. It was just to get them to actually scramble when needed vs sit in the pocket. Penalties impacting gameplay is easy to explain and I'll use holding.. when you raise the holding slider to create more holding calls, players have to start holding more to generate those calls. And they do. The problem is, the calls aren't called more, however the impact of players holding is felt with the blocking. Think about what has to occur for every penalty to get called, think about what can happen if you raise the likelihood of that being called, what the players will do more of so it happens and how that impacts gameplay since it's not getting called

@@SimGamingNetwork last question regarding the traits.. a few times this year I’ve played against a scrambling QB, and in late game, long yardage situations, say 3rd and 18 in the 4th QTR, opposing QB rolls out the pocket and has 10-15 yards of completely wide open field and could make a run for it, but instead just throws it away. This mainly happens when CPU is trailing, so it could be passed off as just a smart play to throw it away and not risk injury or turnover, but it’s just not what guys usually do in real life. Have you seen this happen? Is that trait related or something different?? Thanks again man

@_350heem no, roster edits in Madden take forever because you have to also have a draft class edited to match. Plus having to edit the free agents. Not worth it. Not really necessary either. Turn off abilities and home field advantage. Edit QB traits and you good

Without a doubt my brother, I've experienced the BEST game I've played since I purchased Madden 24 cause of your sliders and settings. Thank you so much for your expertise. Only changes I made was camera view (Zoom on Offense and Defense works great and the graphics are much better) & I'm using Placement and Accuracy cause it flows much better as well.... but I finished a nail biter 29-22 Bengals over the Browns and it was amazingly fun like I just discovered this game 🎮 all over again!!! Also, no SUPERSTAR ABILITIES makes the game play very smooth and playing on conservative is the key.

I wasn't sure Other thing is you mentioned NOT to user catch on Offense and Defense, but what exactly does that mean?? Example ( when on Offense when I pass the ball, do I allow the AI to catch the pass along with running on their own after the catch? Outside of that this gameplay has been AMAZING and fun but I made the SUPERBOWL with Bills (Giants are my team though) after a long season and getting home field throughout the playoffs, I play the eagles in the SB only to lose 😡 But my 2 questions was what I needed clarification. @q-dawwg626 offsides is 30, false start 65. You simply allow them to make the catch. You control everything else. Do yes you can run and do moves etc after the catch is completed

Loving the sliders the sack thing was so bad on default so you have a xp slider video? Developing offensive lineman is literally damn near impossible for me

@Robinette1713 do a slider reset. Go in, hit reset, then import. Then change them. Make sure you drop fatigue to 60 as well as that update they dropped messed up the 81 fatigue we had been using

does the speed parity have to be 0? at 0 the gameplay is way too slow and not realistic in my opinion

what do you mean its slower on 0? it gives the biggest speed disparity. if you have a guy with 90 speed and a guy at 85 speed and you have it on 100, there will barely bee any difference...but at 0 you have a big gap. it def doesn't make it slower

Overall the sliders are very good. However, I find that I have almost no time in the pocket to make good passes consistently. And a lot of the time even when I can get a pass off Im' getting hit just as I release it, so I had to raise player pass blocking.

@@SimGamingNetwork Yeah I do all those things. I'm willing to concede I could do those things better but it's still frustrating sometimes to do all those things and still get hit or sacked consistently when trying to throw the ball.

But also need to get used to only having 2.5 to 3.5 seconds to throw. Make sure you are making the necessary pre snap adjustments

@@SimGamingNetwork Got it. Thought the false start/offside adjustment was only regarding User sacks. Main issue is the right side of my OL (both auto-generated players with low 70s pass and run block power. In comparison their finesse is in the high 80s. Don't know if that has anything to do with it). Anyways, love the sliders. Only having trouble finding the sweet-spot for CPU pass rush and User pass coverage (Also doesn't help that i'm gesting these sliders againt the Chiefs and Mahomes lmao)

These sliders definitely make the game harder but it seems too easy still. They’ll get up 14 on me and I’ll have a comeback victory every week even as the bears. I want sliders where I can lose a game but not because of dumb animations

Yes, but you will need to adjust the accelerated clock. The goal is to get roughly 60 -65 play calls per team
