I really don't know why you can't jump off anywhere in skyloft either, because it seems like you should be able to. I reckon it's to do with loading zones, which would've been hard to change for a remaster like this. and yes, goddes shield best shield. it's up there for me with majora's mask's hylian shield (and mirror shield too, I guess) as a favourite shield design. and I like your theory about the hylian shield, because the lightning round (where you get the hylian shield, and also a piece of heart iirc? you'll get why it's named that once you get there too) isn't something a casual player would go out of their way to do, it's really for completionists of if you really want to practice how fast you can get through a boss fight. it could be a little nod to the past games in the series, something to keep in because it's iconic. the way I like to think about it I can't explain because I think it's a bit of a spoiler, which sucks. but!!! was that a first try on fun fun island??? absolutely INCREDIBLE!!! and yes, the point at which beedle's quest becomes available after the next temple, but not immediately afterwards because there is a bit of story progress between it and the temple. also oh no you're coming up on That Mission soon... I wish you luck

It has astounded me beyond overstatement how moody my gyroscope seems to be LOL It worked so flawlessly for Fun Fun Island and it felt so good! Then I'm walking on a tight rope and it just -refuses- to register xD It has created some of my most memorable moments to be certain
