Man I love your channel and commentary. The videography is great too. You are really showing comfort food with a comfortable vibe.
Add another place to my list! Great video as always, Greg.
Hi Greg, great work as usual. They were definitely more generous with the minced meat on your Hakka noodles!! They used to be more generous pre-covid, but I’ve realised they give less now, sometimes wayyyy less. I’ve gotten maybe half your amount on several occasions. But they are characters and I love the meatballs (although inconsistent, as you rightly pointed out), that’s why I still visit them. I also quite enjoy watching them dish it out to unfamiliar/new customers who don’t know how to order “their way”. It’s like a rite of passage!
Thanks for sharing this! Might go and try it out if within the area! Can do more Kway Chap, Satay Bee Hoon and Lor Mee please? :)
Hi Greg, loves your videos.... Simple yet informative.... You are a great inspiration... Am starting my own & hope to be as successful as you... Take Care Greg...
Loveeeeee the beef balls. My parents love the yong tau hu and soon kueh. The noodles with the chilli is shiok. Greg u really know how to dig hidden gems 👍
You finally reviewed my favorite Beef Noodles! It's truly amazing 🤤
Looking forward to going down to try it!!

Nope, I freelance here and there but my main job is full time dad!
thanks again Greg..i always wonder if this stall is related to the wonderful Special Chili Yong Tofu in nearby Jalan Berseh Hawker which in my opinion is v v v good. I eat in Special Chili Yong Tofu rather often but always forget to ask them if they are relative coz the style o niang tofu is very similar

Next time I ask them! Haha 😂
Side annecdotes = arab-street is nearby = bugis is nearby = besar known as beseh-hawker the defending-side = haig-road and ... is turning-rotating capacitors = look forwards from bugis to beseh
Have you tried Pang’s Hakka Noodles at block 2 Jalan Bukit Merah? They have Hakka Yong tau foo, Hakka noodles, abacus seeds, Hakka meatballs and Hakka radish balls. The soup is very radish-sweet. Quite unique.

No thought for animals who die to make these meatballs?

@@guru6831 The foods seem to be very well prepared. Best way to ensure their sacrifice was not in vain. We would do well to enjoy and to appreciate.
Hi Greg, I loved this stall's soon kueh. Are there similar or better Hakka-styled, more chewy and flavourful soon kuehs in SG? Most of the stalls around Singapore these days are the Teochew, white skin, less flavourful versions.

Easily the best, beef noodle stall in Singapore . The balls are flavourful with whole lot of beef taste. No where in Singapore can u taste the sliced beef which is wholesome and tender, unlike most stalls which are chewy almost like chewing card board. The Hakka noodles beats all other noodles. The niang Tau fu is almost the real stuff ...much much better than any stalls . Their abacus and soon kueh taste homely...made imperfect ...overall it's worth taking the trouble for all their food. As authentic a Hakka dish as can be. Can't find any better...
Your curious fan in the background.
Please do a vlog on a good roti prata
Thanks Greg. Next time, please release video on Thursday. You release on Friday....then wanna go eat and try, but realised that Friday closed. Hhahaha. :)

Any chance of nominating you for the Speaker role in Parliament? At least you will be objective and not easily swayed by female distraction either within the cranium or even worse your loin.
