Very good video! Good no nonsense comment, although I noticed a few glitches too (already mentioned by others, but the criticism is too harsh for my taste). Looking forward to your next videos.

He forgot to mention the variants of the Bonanza such as the 2 seat version the T-34 used by the military to train new pilots and the Japanese licensed version produced by Fuji. There was also no mention of the Twin engine version, The Baron.

Exactly, the Lend Lease program. Several allied countries were included, receiving many kinds of supplies from the USA.

The first Liberators for Britain were ordered in 1939, well before lend lease came into effect. The British also took over an order for the French. Lend lease was not made retrospective, so Britain still had to pay for that initial batch even though most were delivered after the lend lease act was signed. Same for the first orders for Tomahawks, Mustangs, Airacobras, Bostons, Marylands, Buffalos and Bermudas etc. Stuff allocated under lend lease was ordered by the US armed forces and then "lent" to the Allied powers who were expected to return it at the end of the war. The "lease" part of lend lease was the leasing of bases in the Carribbean and Bermuda at peppercorn rents for the US to build bases on to defend the Western Hemisphere from German attack in the expectation of Britain falling to the Nazis.

I think the term you are looking for is lend lease rather than cash and carry. The Cub must have something going for it if so many imitations are being built. It.may not feature as one of the most produced but length of service has to go to the Douglas DC3. First flew in Dec 1935 and entered service in 1936. Mind you if the Russian built Lisunov Li2 is included it could well be one of the world's most produced aircraft

Funny how the Bonanzas I've always seen for six decades are the V-Tail and rarely the conventional tail.

No idea, Liberators reached Britain in numbers only after the Battle of Britain was over. I expect they mean the Battle of the Atlantic, where the Liberator did have a significant effect, it's long range closing the mid-atlantic gap in air coverage against u boats.

AMERICANS?? "America" is not a country! America is actually the name of our CONTINENT... having 35 sovereign countries and over one billion people! Does the USA have historical precedence?, Many American countries are over 100 years older the even Jamestown (our oldest US city). How did the world begin using "America"?, Many Europeans became accustomed to seeing people emigrate to North AND South America as they sought greater opportunity and freedom. (Again, the whole continent!) The United States as well as Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, etc Welcomed millions of Europeans over hundreds of years. During WWII, many Canadians and Unitedstadians plus a smaller amount of Latin Americans were the AMERICANS that helped the Europeans fight against Hitler. The United States does not own America, nor do they speak for the interests of all Americans! Stop this name ignorance!!! I love my country, USA!!! What to call the fine people of the USA? South Americans call us UNITEDSTADIANS! I agree with that!

There is only one country with America in it's name. That's why the residents of the USA are called Americans. There are two separate continents in the western hemisphere. South America and North America. They sit on separate Tectonic plates. They are no more the same continent than Africa and Eurasia are the same continent. Mexico's official name is the United States of Mexico, why don't they call Mexicans United Statsians?

I think the author will also find the system for providing armaments to Britain was ‘lend-lease’ not ‘cash and carry.’
