Against any "great fighter" type of enemy, like, actually skilled folk. I mean, Jason should have a fight like this, but firefly is good as a chase and freeze as a stealth puzzle.

To be fair, the Deathstroke fight was largely memorization, and if you play at a difficulty where the warnings of when the enemy attacks are turned off it's just trial and error. I get that's the case for almost all boss fights, but it felt like this one more than most. Mr Freeze is more open ended and you can play it differently each time. Point is that it's great for a one off, but I think it would've gotten stale real quick if they kept doing it over and over. It was also a little buggy, I know one time I accidently knocked out Deathstroke like a thug without depleting his healthbar and I was locked in the room.

The final Bane fight from Origins is the most fearful I’ve ever been in a video game. It keeps you so on edge and you actually feel like you’re in danger. Plus, similarly to the freeze fights, Bane learns your tricks very quickly and gets progressively harder to fight. Definitely my number one bossfight.

I just paused the game when the Blackgate Bane fight was about to start. I was like, Nope. Nope. Then I tried it once. It was a big mistake.

I'd swap Clayface for Ra's Al Ghul. The spectacle is immaculate

Its a shame Knight didnt have any man to man boss fights, there were a ton of characters who wouldve been perfect for it

@@cappuccino7682 in order for me to say its the best game overall, it has to check off every box: story, gameplay, graphics, characters. Sadly it only checked off 2/4 for me. City has it down packed

I wish Arkham Origins got a modern port while fixing all the bugs.

What annoyed me about the clay face fight is that there is combo moves for the sword whilst fighting his minions which hints at some form of usage for the sword in city that was scrapped

I don't think so because there is only one combo move for the sword, no matter which button combo you press it's still the same combo I actually think the sword might have been a late edition

Hopefully, they release a dlc called "alive squad save the justice league" where it is revealed that the dead batman is a clone and the real one is still alive.

Mr. Freeze on NG+ had me sweating and shaking. Not only dose he jam your Detective Vision but you have to use almost every takedown to defeat him Deathstroke on Hard mode is also a different nightmare

Not to mention origin with asylum is the only other arkham where you can remove the attacks signals without having to go in NG+. That make the deathstroke fight really intense

Im glad someone is giving credit to Origins, it had great bossfights in general. It's never given its props because it didn't have the same team and viice actors but it basically felt like Arkham City 1.5.

Is it me or was that boss a little easy?

Pretty cool, but I would probably replace clay face with Bane from Origins

I'd a replaced Clayface with Firefly, set pieces on Pioneeers Bridge were awesome but good list still!

Clayface was such a surprise in Arkham City and was really fun to fight one of my favorite DC Villians who is criminally underused

Biggest let down of arkham knight was the boss fights

TN1 bane, especially on ng+ because you start out with a signal jammer. No detective mode, fast paced music, time limit and a whole heap of adrenaline.

Yeah they overused the batmobile in AK they should of keep the type of Boss fights from previous Arkham games to be used in AK. PS I would love to have been to use the batwing

The most tense moments in mr. Freeze's boss fight is when your planned attack fucks up and you ruined your chance. Like when you blow up a wall and it doesn't stun him enough

I'm replaying all the arkham games to 100 percent completion and getting all the achievements. I just want to say how much I love these games. They're honestly incredible, and there are moments in the story that keep me up at night. If anyone hasn't played the OG games, now is the time to do so. You won't regret it.

yesssss.... ALL of these boss fights were soooo freakin cool... love, love, love them, even the Deathstroke one which was sooo freakin hard :P

The Ra's Al Ghul in City was cool too, the visuals are insane.

Clayface boss fight was so fun with the freeze grenades and then when he’s in the lazuras pit with the mini clayfaces it’s super fun

When i was like 9 years old, when playing against killer croc i always was terrified specially when killer croc tries to get you with his hand in the water

Bane fight is probably tied for top for me.. it works in the gameplay ensemble as well as the narrative.. its a fight that happens at the center of the best extended segments of the entire series.. The Black mask reveal, encountering joker and bane, joker meeting Harley.. all that stuff is amazing

I kinda wish death stroke's fight was done twice, like first you defeat him in his tank and the next time you do it on the road and fight him hands on, would've been better considering it increases difficulty and would've been more fun

During the mister freeze fight i legit had to look up a tutorial i couldn't think of another way to take him down 😂😂😂

On new game plus, the Mr. Freeze fight requires that you use all of the different takedown techniques. Very challenging, but quite fun.

I agree with all takes. Honorable mention would probably go to Ra's al Ghoul in Arkham City. Also a great fight, very atmospheric and distinct.

Looking at all the games from an objective pov , they should be ranked as follows, asylum last, city next, then origins , and finally the best arkham knight. @@kardionzo_alonzo 😂😂😂 Nah come on if we were looking at it objectively it would be origins,knight,asylum,city but I enjoyed knight more than asylum But I beg of you tell me why origins is better than city, because origins had the worst of pretty much every aspect : worst story, worst open world, worst side missions, worst collectables but the combat and boss fights were good, again definitely not a bad game While city had far and away the best story, the best side content best open world (maybe knight’s open world is better but I just liked the way Arkham city was composed more) Hell I can even support these claims with genuine evidence, asylum got a 92 on meta critic, city got a 93, origins got a 74, and knight got a 87

Mr freeze was the highlight

The Arkham origins deathstroke fight is my favourite boss fight in any game I started replaying the game just to do the fight again

when i first played the batman games growing up i always thought they were the hardest games and had the hardest boss fights, till i played sekiro: shadows die twice, hardest boss fights and it just takes time and luck to beat most of them but i recommend playing it because its a challenge to most

I feel like Firefly from Arkham Origins deserves a mention. It's my personal favourite from that game and I think objectively nearly if not certainly as good as the Deathstroke one
