Love the entire collection Luke! As my collection keeps growing, I always have people ask me why I have so many (however I'd still love to add many more & get to your level someday haha), but in reality there are so many Cards out there that can provide value in different ways, and really loved hearing about the different Cards in your collection across different issuers! Great video as always!

It seems like most of my 5% cash back cards work nicely with my points cards so they may stay on when I go back to collecting travel points!

That’s what I did. I felt like it was worth missing the bonus to have a card I might actually use.

if you were interested, got upgraded at the hilton munich airport hotel with only gold status. awesome property, I'm assuming there are lots of open rooms normally.

Don't fall for that American Express no preset limit on the charge cards American Express has an internal credit limit they set on them cards and if you do have 1 don't go on the app or the website and keep checking your purchasing power my best friend did that with odd high amounts and triggered a financial review with American Express

Nice collection Like! I look forward to the Hilton redemption videos. You know you could downgrade from the Venture to the Venture if they let you and get 2 lounge visits for the $95 AF and not have to deal with that travel portal credit. Maybe worth it. That’s why I got the Venture. Just didn’t want to deal with that credit.

That’s a great idea. I like having access to all 4 major currencies but the VX just hasn’t really won a space in the wallet. I’ll wait to see if they take anymore benefits away.

Hey @Luke's Points and Miles I was wondering if you had a video describing the scenario that you shared on one of your most recent live streams. Where you would fund your new US Checking Account using a Credit Card so you could get a Chase Sign on Bonus while getting your new checking account. I was just curious if there was like a term for how to do that.

It’s really nothing special. If you apply for a checking account with us bank (there are other banks as well) they will ask how you want to fund it and they accept up to $3k in funding from a. Credit card. Obviously you want to pay the card off as soon as possible.

Luke, question. Do you know if you reach 35k limits on all your Amex CREDIT cards, it may trigger a financial review? I'm not worried but I heard it's inconvenience since they will shut my credit down during. Im about to go on trips and don't need that happen.

Half of his cards are not used or he doesn’t like them, unless help for credit length make no sense or he started the credit card game in very chaotic and disorganized way. Other than that I like Luke’s videos but ge is weird on his credit card strategy.

Most of the cards I don’t currently use were either for the bonus or for later in the game as a separate option instead of AF travel cards. Some were valuable at the time but there is no reason to cancel. I think the end game is a no AF cash back set up and one premium travel card. So yes it looks a little chaotic but at some point everything will be in order. Also the biz cards will have separate duty as only biz spend. I think you may also consider I'm 46 years old so some of the cards I got 20 years ago, may not be as useful today but if they're no annual fee then there is no reason to cancel them. But at the end of the day, you are correct in that my credit card strategy is chaotic. I don't believe one has to analyze every step along the way. If I see a card that could be useful or has a nice bonus, i'll get it. I already have my core cards so most of the extras are just that - extra.

Well I can use it as a gas card and get 5X thank you points but I can also purchase various gift cards ($500 a month) to use for purchases that aren’t normally in a bonus category. For instance, my wife wanted to grocery shop at Walmart so I have a gas station here that sells Walmart gift cards 💳

Good thing is that with the Wyndham Business Earner, you get the high multiplier even if you fuel up at Sam's, Costco, or other grocery stores pumps (8x)

Some of those cards will be used as my strategy changes and i also keep them open in case there is a good product change opportunity. No reason to close a NO AF card that is aging nicely.
