As another creator, I understand the whole idea of what you said of “people gotta eat” I have absolutely no problem putting ads on my channel if I can get some form of revenue on them, GRANTED if they align to what I’m also interested in. The REALLY big issue are the current ads being obvious scams as you said. Those AFK games, or when the internet exploded with the whole lvl 99 Mob Boss thing is absolute brain rot. Even though there are settings we can put to control what kind of ads show up (Ex. gambling/dating ads etc.) in terms of what’s EXACTLY shown is completely random and out of our control.
