    Actually there are easy ways to help save them. Like using Amazonsmile and shopping responsibly. The biggest way is to show interest and support organizations who fight for these animals. like the World Wildlife Foundation and #Youthvgov, Because it's not fair that the first beings impacted by climate change had little or nothing to do with it. And the people inheriting the byproducts of our laziness have no choice whatsoever. Its within our reach to change things, but only if we try to fix things. support.worldwildlife.org/site/SPageServer? pagename=can_home&_ga=2.141952692.702692795.1496887654-1346074060.1496887654 www.ourchildrenstrust.org/mission-statement/

    I never knew Red Knee tarantulas were endangered, I've got one myself. Although I wonder if they meant B. Hamorii or B. Smithi?

  • @luisen1996

    @luisen1996

    6 жыл бұрын

    I've read Mendoza's paper on both species. I understand that B. Smithi was thought to be endangered but since it's redescription, the truth is that B. Smithi is actually rare in the hobby while B.Hamorii is actually the one most people own. So B. Hamorii is the one in the greatest threat. I believe they're not actually endangered but the way things are going they will be. They will never go extinct in the hobby but that's not all good news as they occupy an important niche in their environment.

    Those saying that spiders need to go extinct just because they are scary, are a bunch of babies. Seriously. The main reason tarantula owners don't handle their spider is so that it doesn't fall and squish its fragile abdomen.

    Another one to sadly add is the vaquita porpoise. The porpoises are a cousin a dolphin, and this specific one type would be in one of the very most endangered species as if I recall, there is only around 30 left

    aa I saw a malayan tapir in a zoo in spain. My god it was huge. It surprised me since I have always thought tapirs as small cause I think of Bakus as small spirits.

    I have a red knee tarantula! I really hate that they're being taken out of the Wild though and that's why I got one(captive bred)! So I could spread awareness and tell people who are getting them on impulse to think before getting one because you could get a wild caught!
