Why not..will make one video..
After 4 years in Canada, mine score is 812 😋
I started seeing your old videos and this is the first one .. wow it’s really informative .. but Amit I have question is it necessary to have credit cards.. bcoz I am person who loves debit card more than credit cards
@chitchatwithshilpa
Жыл бұрын
You need 2 credit lines to develop your credit score. That could be credit cards or you may have a post-paid phone plan + any loan (ex. Car loan) etc. Hope that answers your question.. Amit
What about if someone is using very less %age of limit. Like I use hardly 4-5% of my total limit on my 2 cards. My credit score is very low though I pay my credit card bills and all other bills on time

SHILPA JI, AGRICULTURE RELATED JOB KA KUCH IDEA MILA AAP KO??
will these website like borrowell do soft check or hard check while sharing our credit report?
@chitchatwithshilpa
3 жыл бұрын
When you request a credit report for yourself, there is no credit check and it doesn't impact your credit score. Only when someone else requests a credit report for you, your score is affected.
Why is there difference of what I see in CK vs what I see in Borrowell : it’s significant difference of about 100 pts. I hardly keep anything pending on credit card for more than a day, pay it off. Utilisation is always less than 30% , whenever I did more than 30% I paid the same day as well
@chitchatwithshilpa
3 жыл бұрын
Credit Karma is Transunion Report and Borrowell is Equifax report...both these bodies have different ways and scoring to access your score and Transunion score is always close to 100 points higher than Equifax..Let your credit card bills come, pay them once the statement is generated so that Credit card companies report to credit bureau, definitely your statement bill should not be more than 30% of your card limit, but atleast some bill to pay should be there, else there will be no reporting to credit bureau.
@yadwinderberi8199

@@chitchatwithshilpa so basically I should not pay immediately & wait for the bill to be generated (of course less than 30% usage)

You got it right..
@yadwinderberi8199

@@chitchatwithshilpa isn’t that weird. Always Paid bill in max 2-3 days , my statement does gets generated, it’s not like zero dollar gets reported. So now I change my approach , not pay it immediately, rather wait until bill is generated
Should we also pay our monthly rents also through credit card.

Hi Shilpa. If we use Transunion or Equifax to check credit score online, will it hit our overall credit score?
@chitchatwithshilpa

No, if you request credit report from your account, it will not hit your credit score at all. It's good to check it regularly.

Try to keep some balance to pay.. (of course less than 30% of your card limit).. No balance to pay means the financial institution has nothing to report to credit bureau. So it is less likely to make a change in your credit score.
