Very interesting video. I analyzed this a few days ago based on the Japanese market and it shows that you are onto something. On snkrdnk, 1) Blue Sky Stream is selling for more than Eevee Heroes by quite a bit, 2) there is less of Blue Sky Stream for sale, and 3) The Rayquaza VMAX alt art in a PSA 10 has been selling for more than the Moonbreon PSA 10. In other words, Blue Sky Stream currently beats Eevee Heroes as the most valuable set in Japan.

Exactly the video I been waiting for any KZreadr to make! I bought a bunch of eevee heroes because it was just so fun to open! I told myself I’ll get blue sky stream boxes later (which didn’t work out well). Thanks again for the awesome video!

Thanks for this analysis, and always enjoy seeing your videos & your viewpoint and analytical thinking and rational. I have few comments though, hopefully trying to be constructive. Not sure about the rarity of blue sky stream vs Eevee heroes, while i agree on your conclusion that eevee heroes was much more printed by a ratio around 3 (which is correct since i recall roughly 3 waves of reprints), that does not necessarily translate in blue sky stream being rarer: I think the point you made using the pop reports shows also clearly that probably it was 3 time more open than blue sky stream due to popularity (and being graded for the hits, probably more boxes had duds). So hard to to say , but it could be that the volume of eevee sealed could be close fto blue sky one. Also in the long term, pricing is also a function of popularity, for example 2-3 time more boxes will be sold in the future than blue sky due to the chase cards and popularity it contains... so another perspective to take into account in valuing long term the products is quality, popularity rather than only scarcity (again there, not clear if one is scarcer than the other as explained)... a quite long comment but hope you understood me 🙂 PS: looking to get these chinese eevee heroes but no idea how, would be nice to have a video on that and share to the community - that for sure would be a great video

Skystream had 1 print run. It was a double box set with towering perfection which seems to have protected it. No double box sets get a reprint besides base sets but it could change in the future

Really good analysis, thank you for your efforts. I am not primarily Japanese sealed BBs collector, however you have attracted me to this and currently my collector ´s goal is to get one BB out of every Japanese set of SWSH era! 👍😎

Japanese sets get expensive when collecting because 3 japanese sets make up one evolving skies english.

Dope video bro 🤙 I personally think eevee heroes will always win over blue sky stream when it comes to value regardless of its massive print run, 1. The demand for umbreon is a bit more, even if umbreon & ray vmax equal out in psa 10 value in the future. And 2. Its loaded with great vmax cards vs blue sky stream were your big hit is only ray vmax. Not including the v cards which is the same argument. Eevee heroes needed those big print runs because of how they loaded up all those hits into 1 box, pretty insane set I can’t wait to see how they’ll ever top that with scarlet & violet 😂

i opened a set of japanese evolving skies boxes: blue sky stream, skyscraping perfection and eevee heroes. I was too naive back then, opening all 3 boxes, pulling a rainbow gordie, rayquaza v alt art and duraludon v sr. Regret opening the boxes not gonna lie...
