I’ve had my Park Avenue with all the bells and whistles for 3 years. While I do love the spa and use it every evening just before bed and on weekend mornings - it’s tough to keep running. I’ve had 4 control panels fail and multiple issues. My main problem is that the one company in my area which is supposed to work on spas just refuses to return a phone call. He may be out of business now? So before you buy one be sure to look into service in your area. It’s a major issue.

Wow, 4 control panels? That's crazy. I've never heard of that. Sounds like you have another underlying issue at hand..... possibly a surge occurring or something similar. Usually Balboa components are pretty reliable.

I'd like to know how the skimmer is supposed to work with that piece slid down in front of the baskets. I took mine out so surface water can get under the top slide down piece ( beer holder). Some intel on this would be great

So if you take out the cup holder tray, and then you look down at that piece at a slight angle, you'll see that there are gaps of either side of it. It's designed to look like there's no gap because you can't see it in the tub or if you're looking straight down at it, but there is enough room for filtration to happen on either side. Running the dual filtration that it does, it keeps that water 🌊 pretty clean!

I just bought a house that has a hot tub like this but we don’t have the second control panel for the lounge. We are trying to figure out what size filter we need for it. We can’t figure it out an the previous owner left nothing for the hot tub so trying to figure it out on our own.

Hello, sorry for the late reply, the filter I use is a Pleatco Pure PRB35-IN. That should work if you have the Park Avenue. There's different levels of Park avenues, I believe the diamond edition comes with the other controller for the dual lounge pump

Just had my Park Avenue delivered today. Id like to hear more on this salt water solution you say you are using. Where could I find out more info on that? Ours came with a box of chemicals to start with but not really alot of instructions on using them

So you can get a chlorinator on Amazon. It plugs into a 120 outlet, and you can mount it either on a post or on the actual hot tub itself on the panel. Then you add salt into the water, and then the chlorinator will use the salt to create chlorine. You can set different levels on the chlorinator. It makes for extremely easy water care, and it's very soft on the skin.

No Ma'am, I have had it for several years. I also have worked on various hot tubs for folks. It's my favorite because of the design of the seats, but also the ease of working on them and getting to the components if they need replacement.

You just have to look around. I got mine for $2500. That was a steal. Normally they are between 3k-5k.

@sports fan yes I was talking used. Brand new they are definitely $18,000. The guy I got mine from was the original owner and he said he paid that for it
