the best PC case I ever owned! Thank you for making this!!
I love it and think I'm sold. Brilliant design and great showcase for my build. Have a white Lian Li O11 Dynamic XL at the moment and love it, but this case is almost perfect and addresses areas of frustration while building. Great job!
Only drawback to the 500 over the 300 is no apparent brackets for the GPU side with filter to intake air directly to the GPU. I feel the 500 is the best middle road for these tower cases but I do like the aesthetic and function of the 300 better. This one is just too Rectangular, however the internal space makes this a much better Liquid setup. IF they modify that left (Looking at it from the front) panel to have vents like the 300 and brackets for fans this case would be ideal for air and liquid cooling with great GPU thermal control. This series is such a refreshing look and design, Thermaltake knocked it out of the park here. Be wary of the Tower 900, it's literally a skyscraper and could house 1 family lol.
we need matx version with 280 aio support!
in my shopping CART already. built in the tower100 I highly recommend this line
We need a Tower 300
I recently ordered this because it has room 8 HDDs but after watching this video I'm amazed with how awesome this case is gonna be
I'm, a fan of that shape. I also bought the coolermaster HAF XB back in the day, so maybe my tastes are unique haha.
Maravilhoso. Já tenho o 100 dourado, vou montar um 7900x nele. Vai ficar lindo.
Recently ordered this guy, mostly because my current case doesn't support my 3070's size requirements. The video helped me understand how to disassemble it and how to managed the rats nest of cables. Sorta wish they had rgb psu cables that could syncronise with the rest of it. Would look amusing to me at least....lol.
I watched hoping to see how you access the ports and cards, which are now on the top and apparently buried in the case. Puzzling.
cool And in the next revisions of the case- will there be a portable front panel for convenience?
this is the next best thing since Lian Li 011d man the configuration is endless in this tower wow
This shit is impressive.
It's beautiful, does it come in gold or copper or bronze?
Will the 360mm radiator brackets be sold separately? So that I could have 2 360mm rads at the same time?
Ok. Si se puede instalar un enfriamiento AIO tendrá la misma refrigeración con un ventilador por Aire??. Aunque se estima que la ventilación debe ser grande con refrigeración líquida.
So much more functional than the Level 20 HT that I already own. The L20 HT is a beautiful case, but that beauty creates some limitations that this new Tower 500 solves. The fan and radiator mounting positions are limited and not very functional on the L20 HT because of the 3 sides and top being completely covered in glass with only narrow ventilation slots. Even completely custom liquid cooled builds (CPU, GPU, dual rads) suffer because there just isn't anywhere to mount a radiator and have the fans push or pull air through it without it just recirculating back into the case or being suffocated by the glass panels.
amazing stuff, i wish you guys could review the Tower 100 now... pls :( the 500 is still too big for me
Could I put two radiators (a 280mm and 240mm) in the 'roof', or would one need to be mounted down below? Both my GPU and CPU have separate AIOs. Any options for mounting the GPU rotated, using a riser cable, so the flat side rather than the top faces the front panel?
So you mention the 3600mm radiator bracket but you don’t show the install?
Hi, i'm glad I found this i'm looking for an affordable 13th gen eATX case. my main goal is to keep my EVGA ram cards verticle on my home computer. it's not hard for me to do this on my work computer build however my home computer i'm not wanting to spend NEAR AS MUCH. it's impracticle for me to spend top dollar for home use. so I like the sacrafice for desk space to get better wire routing and space for a fan cooled graphics.
Can you turn 90 angle the pci selfs to hang the gpu wide side?
Í can't see how external cables are attached to the MB rear panel ports
Just got my secondhand Popcorn Box from a Distant Relative, and my only question is ... how accessible is the Mobo panel for connections will the back cover them.

Possible second question, I have ROG THOR 800 PSU and will I have to mod the bracket to see it?
Is it cheaper than tower 900 and able to fit in ATX motherboard?
Man, I really like that model, it's a bit more expensive than I would have expected, but that's life! What I didn't see in all these reviews is - where do you connect the monitor or more, given that the panel is turned? No video shows it!

@@PhaIIanxx So - I just got mine delivered, and it appears as though the motherboard connections face upward, and are concealed under the press-release top panel. There is a slot in the back to route the cabled through, concealed in the pop off lid ring.
You guys should build a case that allows for GPU exhaust to be vented directly out of the case from the GPU. Like if this case had a vertical GPU mount with the case fans blowing from the sides 3 in and 3 out. Thought about 3d printing something like this but not skilled enough yet.
What screws do I need for the motherboard?
I can’t get my Kraken Z63 aio to fit, the radiator doesn’t fit in the same place your radiator went :(
will this fit a 4090 FE? if it barely fit whatever GPU was in the video, then i have my doubts!
@ambocc
Жыл бұрын
Yes, it should as the 4090FE is shorter than the card he installed.
how do you access the mobo inputs though
I love this Case I really do but the shipping cost internationally is too expensive, In amazon the price is USD 125 but this shipping cost is 255 T_T is twice the original price.
I cant find it for sale anywhere
Why don't You show HDMI / DP cable connection to a GPU?
Top Pc Great computer, and very small
What motherboard did you use? I can't find one that supports all of the front panel options.

request help gentlemen THERMALTAKE, Please can you tell me how to connect the 4 USB ports at the same time of this Refrigerator Type Cabinet. I ask because I just built this gamer PC with this case and the technician only connects a single USB 3.0 cable to the board, the exchange is carried out and if he connects one cable he does not connect the other, the problem is that it comes with two USB 3.0 cables. please help.
I'm curious would this be able to sit on top of a ALEX drawer from Ikea?
@darkru8913
Жыл бұрын
Pretty sure not, the alex drawer according to Google is 14 inches wide. The tower 500 is a little over 15 by 15 if I remember right
@ThePandaboi9

@@darkru8913 Was going to risk it lol since the measurements for the case is from edge to edge but the feet on the case is about half inch away from the edge. Its okay going a different route my set up is on the left side so was trying to find a case where i can see my build
Allow me a supposedly dumb question: WHERE are the ports for monitor and peripherie?
@Shisno132

up top you can see them at 4:15. youll also be able to view where the GPU will be accessed.

Not very with the sizes of today's GPU's
would the 4080 aero oc fit in the tower 500? its 342mm in length but i don’t want something sticking out of the case
@tadmikowsky7520
10 ай бұрын
Probably, but you'd have to remove the left-side plate that covers the power supply. Without the power supply plate it's 350mm i think, but this may be ugly unless you do something creative.. Max gpu length with the plate installed is 325mm, but you can bend the plate a bit to get a 330mm card to (barely) fit.
I’ll be happy when you make a good NAS case, we have no real good options at the moment.
Hmmmm speaking of airflow which i prefer, this case falls short for me. Ill stick with my Lianli evo for now. Untill i see a much better option
Such a big case… too bad it doesn’t support 360 rad on top. I would have bought instantly

Yeah i hear you. Im in the process of building a pc with this case now actually, and I'm starting to question how much thought/experience/foresight actually went into the design. It's not terrible, but could be WAY better if someone at TT thought it out a bit more and made a few tweaks.

@@tadmikowsky7520I'm looking at it too to move a build out of a different case but not being able to move the power supply to the other side to make room for today's GPUs I think its a pass for me.
i want pink color
I have love, hate relation ship with this case... It is smaller than tower 900 So it is possible to fill the space reasonably, what I truly hate is placing of fans/rads. What is so difficult to place MB 3 cm in the from and place nice 2x 360 rad behind the MB like tower 900 has??? Or use completly diferent logic and place PSU behind MB with side enter and place 2x 360 (2x 280) rad in front of MB one on the top and one on the bottom. These move are sooooooo simple but right now I have completly ruined case where I can't place reasonably rads.
case prevents sag on your gpu only reason why im buying
So much room to spare, but a standard 330mm gpu won't fit without hideously removing the psu cover? What were you guys thinking!?
When I see how the guy applies the thermal paste, I already know that half-knowledge is at work here! Less is more and thermal paste is not applied at all. This should fill the microscopically small air gaps and not a 2mm thick layer of glue!
Cool design but not thought through like with almost all cases on the market! What's the point of having many fans if the housing has countless other openings where secondary air is drawn in or let out? What is the point of water cooling that sucks in the warm indoor air to cool it? A lot of emphasis is placed on appearance and not on effectiveness! A pity.
it looks huge.....😂
be in love and take my money :D
WTF do you hide what the rear IO panel looks like...that's literally the most important angle!
i ddont get it this case is bigger that than what is need to be i dont like it
