The latest and greatest from Thermacell! I love these things and I never go fishing without them.
Here's a link to the units I reviewed.

I love the fact the company made it so you can recap the cartridge if you are not using it for a day or 2. I have the at home version, it's less rugged. Because the liquid will evaporate if left uncapped they did a good thing making the cartridge savable for when not in use.
Awesome took your advice , bought it well worth it thank you.
Thermacell makes some great products. I'll have to check this one out.
Looks like something I need to put in my camper
I'm going the backpacker version with gas can (like 300+hrs in a 16oz can), soak the wasted pads in Pyrethrum and they're like new. It's all cheap until it comes to refills.
Thanks for the review. I just bought the x90. I don't alway like putting bug spray. Do you use it while you are moving from spot to spot on the boat?
Thank you ❤❤❤❤
Does it leak? I keep reading that they leak.
man, i get that there's a sticker shock as you said but, as someone who is generally THE person mosquitoes focus on, if they work like you say, it's 100% worth it. like you said, too, that is a LOT of hours (for the consumables side).
I fish in the rivers Not on a boat I like to wear a back pack to carry what I need for fishing In the pocket meant for the Nalgene bottles, I will use the patio version of the thermocell
aint it just a mosquito coil but dependant on 2 things instead of just a lighter and a coil?
How long does the battery and repellent actually last. I want to use it in my deer blind

It varies between model numbers and cartridges. The one reviewed here in this video lasts 9hrs per battery charge and 40 hours per chemical refill.
So does this model not need the butane cartridges and pads? Just those packs with the blue topper? It’s difficult to figure out what one needs even from the Thermacell website.

yes, you only need the liquid cartridge for this one, that's it
8:00 I don’t think it has auto shut off
Can I take the rechargeable one to board the flight?

It has a small lithium battery so it would depend on the airlines policies.
larry is awesome
Thay are great until....your in a stand 40 ft off the ground with a breeze unless that breeze is hard enough to blow the bugs down! I was also hunting swap land in central fl!! But yes I use them!!

Yes the wind is a big factor, but I've found this is the best thing available currently.
Is the battery replaceable? Can you use it while it's charging?

Battery is not replaceable Can use while charging Very inconvenient while camping There are already so many other items to recharge these days I much prefer the butane models Much easier to replace a butane cartridge than wait for a battery to recharge.

That was my thought exactly thanks for clarifying.

USB ports are everywhere… looks like a good solution. The EX90 model lasts for 9 hours, which is much better than the older models that were 5 hours. The whole thing is kinda expensive but mosquito bites are worse.
Any reports on how it handles those pesky black gnats we've all grown to love???

@@3RiversFishingAdventures okay thanks Darren...tight lines.
Mosquito coils do the same but are cheaper and longer lasting.

I've tried both, there is no comparison, plus those coils smell terrible. And 1 more thing to worry about burning and cleaning up.

20 years ago the coils didn’t work, did they get them figured out finally?
