She really is the real deal. No one else could know the things she does. She is my favorite psychic.

But that's just what she does. She never states anything specific as fact. She asks questions, and then can pivot based on the answer. She asks... "Did you think you saw your son...?" The answer is really no, but the victims are so eager to communicate that they make the leap for Caputo: "My mom did, she called me..." (Does the son not know the difference between mom and granny?) Then: "Did you bury him in casual clothes?" (Not at all unusual for people who die young, by the way...) But if they had answered "no, he was in a tuxedo," she could just say, "He's so glad that you dressed him up. Did he love to dress up?" and can just roll from there. Maybe she's for real, but I'd be much more likely to believe her if she'd just stated facts instead of fishing. "Did he have a girlfriend?" (Oh, it's you!) "He's down on his knee..." So transparent. I also wouldn't be surprised if her assistants and producers scanned social media for people who tagged themselves at the studio that morning, or who used the hashtags of Viera's show on Instagram. With an audience that size, it wouldn't be hard to find someone with lax privacy settings who copes with their fresh grief by posting about it to social media. (And the mom is so emotional, and she thinks she's talking to her dead son. OF COURSE she's getting goosebumps.)

Because that's the point of KZread, so that more than one side of the argument can be heard. Remember, some people aren't sure whether they believe this stuff, so it's important that skeptics speak up as well as believers, otherwise it's just indoctrination. Personally, I watch for two reasons - firstly to see IF it's real. I would love it if someone was truly psychic and could just TELL us stuff without having to ASK lots of questions and GUESS. When I see that the 'psychic' is just cold-reading people, I comment about that. Secondly, I find these liars so disgusting that I comment in order to show my distaste. I find it offensive that people make money exploiting the grief of others. If someone posted a video that was offensive to you - maybe something racist - then you might watch so that you could object to it. It's the principle of Free Speech and that's a good thing.

I used to think people like this were just taking advantage of grieving people. However I have a relative who found great comfort in seeing a psychic after a loss of a spouse of over 50 years. So long as they're not spending an exhorbitant amount of money on such a service I think that if people find peace in it then let them find peace in it. I wish I wasn't a skeptic sometimes because it is much harder to find solace lol

Any person who lost a father, mother, pet, sibling, close friend, lover, wife or husband whom they loved dearly need no proof that this real. Those of us, who lost someone we loved, know that our bond is eternal and they are with us even though we never talk about it to anyone.

I adore this woman. Just watching the release of the grief people have been holding onto makes her a saint in my eyes. How anyone can watch her talking to the ladies in the front row about the son, with the insane levels of details and questions the could only apply to them, is amazing! I’d love to have a chat with my mum. Miss her so much, been through a lot since she died and I feel so alone without her to talk to. If you are lucky enough to still have your parents, go call them right now. Go see them whenever you can, whilst you still can.

Could be many ways. If the audience had to make a booking to attend the event she can get access to a list of every person that is coming. This means that she can look up information of those who are going to attend until she finds enough she can use. Facebook for example is a very good source for finding out all kinds of details. Furthermore, if the audience have been speaking to each other before she could have listened to what was being said, and this gives her even more information. Combining information gathering with cold reading you can find out pretty much anything.

Theresa has such a good way of giving such tearjerking news and then making a joke to make sure the memories people keep are positive. Whether people believe in what she’s doing is actually talking to dead people, she is helping people through some of the hardest times in their lives and that is a gift no matter the wrapping. 💖

Wow this Theresa Caputo is good. I also like how much she injects this invigorating, positive energy and humour into it, how can anyone continue seeing their loved one departed as "dead" after receiving messages from her!?

She read me two nights ago at one of her shows. It’s something u can never describe in words. Been hard to sleep ever since but I’m ok with that 💜

It does matter because it underpins an industry of charlatans who are taking advantage of grieving people. There is no licence to be a 'psychic', no regulation, nothing. And yet they are allowed to charge a lot of money to SELL the comfort and closure you mentioned. Remember, every time Caputo does a tv show she gets PAID, promotes her business (I think it's currently $800 for a reading) and sells her books/events. Uh all of this is a complete lie the audience filled out information beforehand and the ones that looked like would make the best tv drama were picked then she asks vague questions related to that info and starts the BS. Let me educate you. This is typical cold reading. Listen again, and notice the pattern. 1. She makes a general statement or asks a question. 2. She uses the info given and acts like she got that info "from spirit". She asks the whole audience about a dead son, she sees a woman start cry, and goes over to her.

Sometimes Theresa is off but there's NO way that section with the boy that took his life could be fraudulent or rehearsed, and nothing she said was generic. I would say she has some form of a gift but nowhere near as strong as Matt Fraser for example but she still knows how the game is played and she gets a hit, she gets a HIT. Like the boy for example.

@@Nikki-fm2dz In another interview on this show Meredith asked if a person was murdered, would the spirit tell her the name of who killed them. She claimed that they don't because the way she uses her "gift" is only to help someone for the healing process. When it comes to helping and healing, few things will do that better than finding out who took their loved ones life. How unbelievably convenient that these spirits don't tell her who murdered them.

82Jaster you don’t know what it’s like to pass on from this world so you can’t really speak on a spirits part when all they do to pass on is let go everything that kept them stuck. I honestly believe that when you die you don’t wanna be stuck up on your murderer, you wanna stop being in pain and move on from this world. You just don’t know what’s it like to be stuck in a world like this WITHOUT being inside a human body, it could be toxic for the soul if you can’t find a way to move on.

I like to believe when we die we will come in contact with everyone we’ve known who’s passed and life is just wayyyyy better with no worries❤️

Where did you go and see her? I would love to go see her. My fiance committed suicide April 13 and I have so many questions

She always asks so many questions and then when she gets a hit she totally goes off about how she already knew it and how "the spirit" is talking to her yet not giving her any info since she has to ask a million questions
