@@alanalaurent6349 my two older brothers attended a reading with hopes of finding information regarding the murder of our youngest brother, Nick. I'll skip the details but... the reading started out typical of the readings we've seen but it didn't take long for the situation to go off the rails. As Caputo went farther and farther off the mark, she became angered at my brothers' eye-rolling and head-shaking and angered at the insistence of the others (there were 8 or 9 in the group) that she focus on our family. She did get a few factual things correct... at first. She was not sure of how he died but said it was a blow to the head (Nick was shot in his left temple), so that's close. She said there was another young male with him who had passed much earlier (our uncle was killed in Vietnam in 1967), so that's close. She knew that my brother Tim was carrying Nick's car keys with him... which he was. She knew we were Catholic and laughed that they would catch Hell when our mother found out they went to a medium! But then it descended into b/s from there. She started yammering about a wristwatch and a pair of sunglasses and other stupid things of zero significance. Nick didn't give a rat's ass about that stuff in life and I doubt he'd be bringing it up from the other side. The more the group just shook their heads in disbelief, the ruder Caputo got, insisting (for the umpteenth time) that she didn't care if they believed her or not. It culminated with a profanity-laced temper tantrum and she and her assistants gathered their belongings and left. I don't know what trickery Caputo and her ilk use to find out accurate details like the car keys, and I don't care. It was the umpeenth reading members of my family had attended in the desperate hope of getting justice for our still-grieving parents, and with few exceptions, every reading was the same as the next. At no point during any of these countless encounters were any of us ever under the impression that our Nick was trying to communicate with us. The grieving process is different for families of murder victims and it's compounded when the killer is never found. We don't even know where Nick was murdered , only where his body was found. Every suspect has been cleared. Those seeking to overcome grief should seek the services of a professional grief counselor or turn to their faith. Priests, Rabbis and Pastors of major Protestant congregations are highly trained in the subject. I've come to the conclusion that there IS NO "other side". I did not begin to heal until I accepted the hard, cold truth that our little tow-headed mischief maker was gone... and I was never going to hear any comforting words from him to ease my guilt (I was harshly critical of Nick) and that his killer would likely never be caught. And I didn't need some vulgar witch with a bleached and buffed rat's nest glued to her head to help me heal.

@@yossarian6799 First and foremost, I am sorry for your loss. However, upon reading your response, it's very clear she did in fact communicate with him. Unfortunately, we all have bad days and even mediums have an off day. There was a lot of spirits in the room trying to connect with her, it must be very hard to decipher everything she is receiving all while performing in front of large groups of people. I wouldn't judge all psychics and mediums based off that one experience. It is unfortunate that it had to end they way it did, but it does sound like initially it started off on a good note. Also it must be very difficult when you're trying your best to provide information but the family is rolling their eyes and giving you bad energy in real time.

What always amazes me is how quick people are to call her a fraud or a liar when they clearly don’t even realize how this all works. Not only are they ignorant to the process, they’re close-minded and their perspective is extremely limited. For anyone who thinks she’s “faking it” or just “guessing,” here’s some food for thought: First of all, we only see what was recorded and posted. Even if you’re sitting in the audience, you don’t know what happens after everyone goes home-and you’ll see what I mean by that. Second, even within the 10 minutes of this video you see how not everyone speaks up when she’s talking about their loved one. Sometimes people are too shy/nervous to speak up, sometimes they’re afraid, sometimes they’re closed off, sometimes they don’t want to talk about personal information on live TV, and sometimes they simply don’t realize she’s talking about them/their loved one. If you watch more of Theresa’s videos, or videos of any other medium for that matter, you’ll see that this happens OFTEN. Don’t take any time to think things over and actually analyze the situation, just immediately point the finger at the medium 🙄 who is the obvious/easy scapegoat in these situations. Do your research, watch a ton of videos, and be open-minded. You’ll see just how many people forget information about their own family members when they’re put on the spot, even if that family member is sitting right next to them! Some of them end up remembering while they’re still in front of the medium, but some of them don’t put the pieces together until later when they get home, or sometimes even years down the road! Third, you have to understand that the spirits on the other side are not able to freely communicate with living people in the physical world as easily as you can communicate with other living people. Besides the fact that dead people don’t have mouths to speak from, there is no need for verbal language in the afterlife. They have to get creative in the way they communicate with us. They can’t just whisper everything they want to say, word for word, in our ears. This is why you’ll see that mediums are shown images/scenes, are made to feel certain sensations, are drawn to certain people, are shown symbols, etc. depending on which mediumistic method is being used. Finally, if you don’t believe in mediums then don’t watch their videos. It amazes me how many people are angered by the possibility of someone ripping people off, yet find nothing wrong with spewing hate and negativity themselves. You think you’re better than Theresa (in this case), but you’re calling names and making accusations without even thoroughly understanding what’s going on. You’re no better than Theresa or the next person. No one’s better than anyone. Although I find Theresa to have a genuine gift/ability, we still all make mistakes and hurt others whether intentionally or not. Let others believe in what they want and if you don’t believe then go watch videos about something you do believe in. Do something positive. Be kind. Spread love.

yup she's exactly right, about feeling things or just knowing things. Sometimes it's very hard to explain to someone that doesn't believe or thinks your crazy. I've tried many years to try and figure out the symbols they show, that's the only thing I do have problems with, and those feelings that I get that I just know. Sometimes very strong smells and bits and pieces in vision that they show. I wished I could have an advocate to help with this, been struggling with it since I was very young. Now I'm in my mid 30's and starting to understand some of the symbols and feelings they show. SHe's so so good, she's got hers down pact, she's def. a natural at this.

i feel like a lot of people don’t understand how connecting with the dead and connecting with people works. i’m not a skeptic of ghosts or communicating with them because i have and i know others who have. however, i am a skeptic of people who claim they are as well, because there are liars and cheats out there. it’s good to be skeptical. but when you’re in a room full of people and a ton of spirits, it’s hard to decipher which story belongs where. it’s like a puzzle and spirit isn’t always specific, they like to play games and let you figure out the meaning. they won’t straight up tell you things. furthermore, if a person is closed off to receiving a message, that makes it harder for teresa to fit the puzzle piece. or perhaps, the piece wasnt meant for that person so you have to try it somewhere else. it doesn’t mean she’s faking, or lying, it just means it’s really fucking hard to fit the ghost to the person, especially if that person isn’t open to receiving a message from their loved one.

Honestly, I was really skeptical of theresa but when I kept watching the videos, she's giving people closer. Yes at time she does say the same thing but she also says really specific things. Yes she probably seems harsh, you gotta see that sometimes she has to hurry or get alot of information out fast because shes on the shows time. Also she's human she makes mistakes, shes been doing this for years. Also you see that the audience wouldn't answer her when she would ask them questions. Also what she is shown by the spirit world is what shes trying to understand and put together to let it make sense to the person she's reading. I can honestly say I can't wait to see her in person.

No, she can't make mistakes. She claims to be above a normal human. Don't fall for people who look good because they dominate the environment so much to question your own confidence. But this is how the world is 🤷‍♀️

I love her strength as a woman! I'm sceptical though due to the questions and inquisitive nature of her subject matter at hand. She is intelligent and can read minds more than she can speak to spirits and as she does that so well! Theresa also interjects her own thoughts to make it seem like the spirit world is talking to the bereaved family members. But kudos to Theresa for helping some of her audience members get through a tough time after losing a loved one!! 💞

Cold calling at it's best. Well maybe NOT the best, but cold calling none the less. I always find it funny when she say's a vague statement such as "Who has the dead Mom or Dad that died tragically" followed by staring around the audience until someone either say's something or raises their hand.

She's always validating what she says

I’d like to see her do a 1on1 with a stranger she doesn’t know she will be meeting beforehand.

I love her people say no at first then it clicks and I know that she is being overwhelmed with spirits and that y she more accurate when it one by one. But a hole audience wow she did great

At the end of the video..She says "The dead people don't know off." I kid you not there's another show she was on giving a "reading" and in the middle of it they said we need to take a break and she was like ok in mid sentence...I kid you not..ha!

No medium is spot on and if they are then you need to question it unless you ever been in there shoes u don't know. Reading some of these comments proves that there is so much hate in this world it's sickening. If u don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all.

These gifts are not "fraud". There are people who truly have gifts. I am one of the few. Its very difficult to interpret someone or something when you have so much unknown/new information coming in at once. You never believe until you experience it for yourself.

Caputo guessed.What do you think the odds are that the daughter would have kept either the pocket book or what's was inside of it. The mother died of brain cancer. It must have been horrible. What do you think the odds are the daughter would have been there when she died? Do you know what conformation bias is? It's when you "count" her hits, but ignore her misses.

When the same person is approached,and she forgets she did that two yrs earlier, she looks tilts her head,and says you lost your mother right ? The lady is 75 , Literally standing there with mouth open , she says well she says to tell you .. that , “ Excuse Me , hon who are you you talking too? Oh sorry Teresa’s reading me mom, she says you want to tell me something lol. I’m not even kidding. Teresa looks the other way ,so embarrassed and says I must be getting that ladies motha . When she asks a woman, only her," you were just looking at her address book?" and she is exactly right, that was a guess? Not everybody can have an open mind. You don't have to believe. The comfort Theresa brings to people is life changing. And she is never negative.

@Sundar Pichai I saw Theresa Caputo live 2 years ago. I saw for myself she knew SPECIFIC things only immediate family members would know. And she said them to specific people. If you have a closed mind NOTHING will make you believe. And that's okay. The people who have an open mind will take away an amazing experience. Like I did.

Just once the dead would tell us their full name. Theresa has full conversations wih the dead but no names

Janet Thurston psychics are fake. There is 0 scientific evidence that supports this bullshit. People who claim to be psychic throw out so much bullshit that a lot of people can relate to. She might say something like “I sense that you have a bad relationship with a family member” almost everyone does. Psychics use various methods like shotgunning and the Barnum effect that make people believe they’re legit while they’re actually con artists who only give u a sense of false hope and take your money

It must be difficult to read in a room full of people like this where there's so much more activity due to the audience size and especially when people aren't expecting to be read and therefore do not or choose not to speak up or acknowledge when something is connecting to them. She's a terrific lady and I have so much admiration for her. Love her boots as well.

I go right to the next soul.....meaning I’ll try some other cold reading technique.

Guys, it works like this. Many spirits try to communicate with her at once. She needs to pick one to focus on. Then she communicates with the audience that can relate to that specific info the very spirit gives, which are many. Amongst many, one is specifically related to “that spirit”. That’s why she goes round finding the right people. Her brain is packed full of info, she speaks very fast to get things across. Like whose brother passed away. There are 10 ppl related to that. But specific detail would only correspond to 1 out of 10. That’s why she needs to find the right one. You know what I’m saying?

So why doesn’t the spirit just call out the name of their relative sitting in the audience?

She is in a room full of people so I believe a lot of spirit comes through so of course she can’t pin point everybody but she was clearly spot on with that lady
