Betterend is avaialbe on 1.20. If you are trying to use it on forge use the fabric 1.20.1 version with sinytra connector.

they delay the caves and cliffs update but make april fools update really good for some reason

its becase with the april fools updates, they can do anything they want so their team works 100% on anything they'd like. the reason Minecraft updates are so slow if they have to make sure it doesn't ruin the game, even a little glitch can break the whole game
