Yeah.. I saw that coming since Valentine's Day in West Texas... and I knew when I saw that title that what happened at 13:50 was gonna be in THIS VIDEO... and I'm screaming YEAHHHH!!! at the screen. Y'all have EARNED that... and I'll second the "live long and prosper." Me? I'm taking a longshot, and getting my own new home airport: EHRD. If y'all want a BIG adventure, something that'll take a bit more than a C-172 (though surprisingly not MUCH more, if you're willing to take the far north route)? Across the big pond is definitely a thing. Funny enough, the thing that got me firmly attached to flying was another journalist and his lady friend crossing the pond, back in 1975... Peter Garrison and Nancy in Melmoth, "The Compass and the Clock" (December '75 _Flying_)... I hope your story sticks with the next generation as that one did with me.

That 'look' of Chelsea's is what I noticed most a year ago. Those who become our spouses DO have the look for each of us early.... It's not just Chels. The trick is to 'keep that look' alive for decades as you hit the rough spots. It's these early years that set the tone for the long haul. I think they might have what it takes. I'm at 41 years (to the same awesome lady). She still 'occasionally' looks at me that way.. when I'm not ticking her off.. lol...

When I started watching this channel I was just a kid who enjoyed aviation but had no experience or connections to the industry and didn't really know how to get started. Through your work you've helped me so much in finding a way in and getting my aviation journey off to a start, 10 years later I'm now on the verge of taking my CPL checkride and am now looking at where to start my flying career. I can't thank you enough for all you've tought me through sharing your tips and your story on this channel, you and Chelsea are such an incredible team. So thank you both and a huge congratulations, I cannot wait to see where your story goes next.

I’ve been into aviation my whole life, been going to Oshkosh since I was 3. Just like Paul Poberzeny said, “We come for the airplanes, we come back for the people.” People are truly what matters in life. Oh yeah, but airplanes are cool also.

I'm not 6'5". Since my wife is 5'1" I claim 5'15". This one is getting shared with her (and my handkerchief is wet) as she does love a good love story -- not so much the airplanes!

I have never met either one of you, however I feel like you both are my friends. You made a 54 year old man cry with joy which is very hard to do. Congratulations

I would have sworn that you two were already engaged. Your video "The ladies flew us to Key West 3 Countries in 3 Weeks: Part: 9/10" at 14:28, Chelsea is covering her left hand like she was hiding a ring. Awwww, what a great story. My wife and I met at a local airport while we were both completing our PPL. We got engaged and married two years later. All that was 13 years ago and life is grand!

Absolutely agree. Over 1,000,000 Americans have died so far of COVID. This was really disappointing. I’ve been a fan of this YT channel for over a decade. This was a bummer.

Congratulations! What a sweet story. When I met my wife I was learning to fly (I did get Single engine land PPL with tail wheel), she flew gliders, but we met through a car club for 1960s & 70s Triumphs. We decided to settle and have children and had to give up the flying. I was struggling to remain current let alone proficient. 30 years later we have 2 grown boys in their 20s so no regrets. My work over the years has seen me involved in aviation. All the best to you both.
