I saw Bob in DC during my first pride, the day after Pulse Happened in 2016. "Do not let something scare you because if you don't go out, they fucking won," stayed engraved in my 16-year-old brain. I often think about that phrase, but I didn't realize how long ago it was or how much it impacted me. Suddenly, it became easier to be and like myself, and I will forever be grateful to Bob for that.

That is such a perfect example of why Pride events are important. It’s more than decriminalisation, or equal marriage. It’s about the power to live out loud. You can’t be what you can’t see. For 16 year old you, seeing a plethora of queer people living out loud, refusing to cower to threats, and banding together was important for you to see what your life could look like.

I had no idea who they were but came to love their dynamic so much! Bob and Monet are the ones who got me interested in the show which is funny cause it's usually the other way around for fans of Drag Race.

My first impression of Bob was when she entered the Werk Room, and I thought to myself : "Ah. So... she wins. Right ? Yeah I think that's a fair assumption that no one would ever dispute." And I somehow managed to be right. She exuded SO MUCH charisma and confidence right as she entered the competition. From second one I knew she would buldoz the competition. And she sure did.

the picture with Ru at 0:37 was REVENGE for her getting your name wrong in the beginning (edit, they just kept GOING oh my GOD)

I miss this finale format so much! It really let the individual girls shine and have their own moment. Plus the original songs were so fun and catchy. I wonder why they only did it for season 7 and 8?

I first saw Bob walk through the workroom. I loved her instantly. I loved her name. I loved her attitude. Ive hever let go. She was one of the most classy and supportive queens in untucked. She was also the first POLITICAL queen which meant a lot to me. ALWAYS QUEEN OF THE PEOPLE!

My favorite queen since 2016. Even when she plays too much or say something ocasionally dumb in the podcast, I cannot help but stan. Rooting for her was so refreshing after the horrors of season 7. Watching her shine on season 8 was also one of the first activities that my boyfriend and I did together, and here we are now watching season 16.

Had the pleasure of attending a Bob and Monet show and it was amazing. They were so kind and funny. They deserve all the success

There’s another explanation for season 8 to have so few episodes, I read this somewhere can’t remember where. Season 7 had very low ratings and because of that RPDR was almost cancelled after season 7. So apparently Logo only ordered 10 episodes for season 8 because they were not sure how the show would do. That was the last season airing on Logo, after that went to VH1 who ordered normal number of episodes again.

Bob won me over just this year when i saw him perform with Madonna - I was blown away. I was team KimChi all the way, and have been bitter about bob winning all these years…im finally over it 😂

I met Bob at Therapy in NYC just before she was officially announced as apart of the cast of Ru Paul’s Drag race. She was amazing , it’s so funny I ran into her again just last year at the Eagle in Atlanta. Her career growth is crazy ….

Season 8 was the first season I saw and my introduction to Drag Race. I was all in for Kim Chi then and was initially disappointed in the finale, but she definitely deserved the win. I truly love Bob and all her amazing projects.

Yet Another Dig is PURE CINEMA. I love every pixel and frame of it. And the dancers are a side delight. Gay Barz is also amazing, and BLACK... I mean. I MEAN.

I was absolutely obsessed when I saw her entrance. The outfit and personality were everything.

Tbh I was one of those people rooting for Kim to take the crown in season 8. But in the years since then Bob has stolen my heart. I'm in love with absolutely everything she does. Truly a blessing to this earth!

Season 8 came out my freshman year of college and is the reason why I have one of my best friends. I asked his roommate to use their tv for Drag Race. Then my friend stay to watch it with me and since then we were besties. We were team Kim Chi but I still love Bob looking back at the season.
