Something else to consider is that the pilot season is sometimes shorter than subsequent seasons. So pilot season is 8 episodes, 2nd season could be 12-20 episodes.

8 episodes is enough Episode 1: Loguetown Episode 2: reverse mountain Episode 3: whiskey peak Episode 4:little garden(they may skip this arc) Episode 5:drum island pt.1 Episode 6: drum island pt.2+alabasta pt.1 Episode 7: alabasta pt.2 Episode 8: alabasta pt.3(they would skip many fillers like meeting the desert pirates or the plot with the sniper and his son)

@@Sinsmoke_ They won't skip Little Garden - that's important to various plot points. Elbaf, Dressrosa, Enies Lobby, Drum Island, Alabasta, etc are all connected to it. It also is a huge step forward for Usopp's character.

I think they'll make season 2 longer. For season one, Netflix had no idea if the live action was going to flop or not. Now that there's a demand, I'm sure they're willing to invest more in a second season.

I’m hopeful that the second season is going to be longer than the first one. The show runner said that Loguetown is important and they want to spend at least a full episode there. Also nothing is confirmed yet but the show runner has been commenting on Jamie Lee Curtises posts about Kureha so it’s very likely that she’ll be playing her

I think each act of Wano should be considered its own arc, making Wano three arcs.

I LOVED this video it's the first one of your videos I have ever watched and it was amazing.

I only watched the first 15 seconds. Best way to divide it up would be: Ep1: loguetown, approaching reverse mountain at the end Ep2: reverse mountain, crocus and laboon Ep3: whiskey peak Ep4: little garden Ep5-6: drum island Ep7-10: arabasta (Yes I think they’ll do ten episodes this season. If they do 8 they can put reverse mountain and whisky peak as one and shorten arabasta)

They have already planned ahead 6 seasons, so i guess they started by laying the road map. Start and endpoints included for each season. The series is mainly made to bring in new viewers, who don't know the original storyline or pacing. As long as the story and ending of each season makes sense storytelling wise, it will work.

Here's how I see a 10 episode season being broken down 1.Loguetown 2.Reverse Mountain whiskey peak hybrid(they could really cut alot of the whiskey peak stuff and still involve vivi and Robin) 3. Little Garden 4-5 Drum Island 6-10 Alabasta All of these episodes will need to be at least an hour and some of them could even be movie length like what stranger things did. That being said. They're gonna need ALOT more money lol

You're talking about 116 chapters worth of story, as opposed to season 1's 96 chapters + all the Koby and Garp content added in. Time really isn't the issue nearly so much as money.

I feel like they will cut out little garden and maybe Ussop and Choppers fight, Ussop in the first season was barley used and they may cut out his defining moments

important things to consider 1. with how much of a success the first season was, its not out of the question that they get an Increased episode count for season two. 2. I think a super cool thing they could do is make season two loguetown-drum island and then either make all of alabasta season three, or make Alabasta a Lord of the Rings style Three hour movie

the issue with more episodes is the budget gets more divided

Mhh I thought the Live action's pacing of season 1 was somehow still pretty slow, due to expanding the Koby Garp storyline. Theoretically: I think Logue town episode 1, reversemountain/ wiskeypeak/littlegarden episode 1,2, drum island ep3,4, alabasta 4 episodes. However I think they might go with 9 or 10 episodes for season 2. Season 3 would go straight into Jaya and Skypea, they might round it off with longring longland (or skip it). Season 4 Water 7 and enies lobby. Season 5 Thriller bark, Sabaody, Amazon Lily Season 6 Impel down, Marine ford, return to sabaody. ( I don't think they would leave it Marine Ford for the end of season 6. Anything beyond that......I don't know if the LA can even make it that far. We will need to see. Season 7 Fishman Island (that could have been way shorter i.m.o.), Punk Hazard, start dressrosa. Season 8 Dressrosa Season 9 Wholecake Island Season 10 Wano Season 11 Final Saga. Since shows like supernatural etc. have went on for way too long (15 seasons) I believe it's possible to do it in 10/11 seasons. Now years of production thats indeed a different story, but make up / CGI can help in making the actors look younger if needed. Ofcourse sometimes actors need to be recast, that can't be helped, that's just how it is. I mean anything can happen to anyone.

theres an interview with Steven Maeda who was one of the producers of the live action talking ab the show. he says the show originally was going to be 10 eps but bc of budget and some changes Oda wanted that took away from the budget (Mihawk's intro scene wasnt planned but Oda demanded they do it), the show was shortened to 8 eps. given the success of the first season and how they originally wanted 10 eps maybe they'll raise the budget for 10 eps this time. at least thats my hope

You're the only person I've seen say it got cut down to 8 episodes because of Oda. I thought Netflix decided to cut it to 8 due to covid,

Season 2 is alabasta saga

The end of Season 2 gonna be after Alabasta with his new Wanted, they gonna short this arc (so many things could be cut). Then at the end, they gonna show the meeting of all the Warlords for choose the new one, after Crocodile get ousted. And we have time before 2025, technology gonna level up so we could have a good surprise. We have said the same for the first season and finaly it was a success.

They could also get Brina Palencia to do chopper again. That's not off the table.

You should cut people some slack. If someone only read the manga it is nearly impossible to get every pronunciation down correctly. The world is so insanely massive. Any manga reader is gonna have a ton of names wrong in terms of how they say it

Yep. They are going to need to establish the giants here. That much is obvious. If not they are basically admitting that they will never finish the whole story in live action. It is that simple

My prediction is 1- Lougetown Ending with Reverse mountain 2-A short and easy introduction to Krokus & Laboon Then Going to Whiskey Peak and instroducing Boroque works ending with Mr 8s assassination. 3- Then Onto Little Garden for another quick resolve of that situaion their maybe a shortened battle with Mr 3 & Crew. Ending with leaving the Island 4- Nami Starts getting sick & they go to a Shortened version of drum island ending with defeating Wapo, Chopper joining and heading to Alabasta 5- Arrive at Alabasta, Introducing the Island, Vivi's Dad, Introducing Koza meeting Ace and ending with heading into the Desert. 6- Desert episode, Meeting Koza's Dad, the sand pirates, learning how bad the situation is. 7- Getting to Rainbase and Finding Crocodile, getting trapped, making it out Ending with Luffy losing to Crocodile for the first time, gainging smoker's trust and the Crew heading to Alubarna 8- The battle begins, final showdown between Crew and Boroque works. 9- Luffy Vs Corcodile, Vivi stopping the War, a big resolution & the Straw Hat's heading off with new Bounties

they cant keep the show for long , they made too many small change and the pacing is not great , idk how they will be able to actually make chopper like he's suppose to be , he's still have 7 transformation .

its ok because it sucks and there's no need to watch it when you can watch the anime

I think it was actually pretty well done, and it did a good job of getting people who had never watched one piece, or anime in general, to watch the one piece anime. It’s your prerogative to not like it, but from what I’ve seen the majority of one piece fans seemed to enjoy it
