Most raw talent for sure. Not best all around though
Pav is the best. Miss him. Once in a lifetime talent. Incredible.
He was and I think always will be the best all-around player in the NHL ever. People always say points, points. But this guy did it all and that is why he is on my number one list of all time. I don't think points makes a player the best ever. Its what they can do as a complete player. But to each there own.

He truly is the Magic Man! Miss him so much! 😢

I never get tired of watching Datsyuk. I know there are many other players with more impressive stats but I don't believe any of them have any more skill than Pavel Datsyuk.
Man we miss you Pavel! Come back anytime
I miss him so much. Goodbye Pavel, goodbye playoffs.
As a Detroit native he’s welcomed and invited into all of our houses.
Will always be my favorite player #13

He was like Barry Sanders on skates. Forever a hero in Detroit. It was an honor to watch him play. Those RedWing teams may have been in the top 5 all time best ever
Not only an outstanding player, but also a great person!! Love this man as a player and a person. He'll always be one of the best!

I hope he comes back to work as a front office guy, or coach or something. He’s a real class act. Like many of those greats, he embodies what it means to be a Red Wing.

@@HousewolfDaddyбыло бы просто классно если бы Павел стал тренером в Детройте.
His differens from another players was that he never liked standard decision but nice and original one. It is like genius mathematic always try to find new and nice solution of task. That is a reason why we can see his videos endlessly.
There are so many things that I loved about Pavel but the humility was tremendous. Even though he was insanely skilled he was also an excellent team player. I wonder if he even knows his stats. I hope I see him one day coaching at some level
The one thing I noticed about datsyuk well besides his skill is he’s a fantastic skater.
Favorite player to watch. Datsyuk is amazing.

The goal against San Jose at 3:57 is filthy. That's born natural talent. Smartest, highest hockey IQ of all time. He was, and still is a true magician on the ice. There will never be another Pav. His style, talent, personality, he's just the greatest.
This man is a legend, and I'll be sure to enjoy every last minute I get to see him play in the NHL. Thanks, Pasha.
If every sportsman was so humble. To me, he is the best.
He may not be the greatest goal scorer ever (#99), or the greatest one-on-one player ever (#66), but he IS the most dazzling and amazing player I've ever seen in my life..... He does things that no other player has ever done..... When you can amaze Brett Hull, you know you're special. I know you're not retired yet, but thanks Pav.... thanks for the memories, and thanks for being a Red Wing... we love you!

As Flyers fan, I can say that Pasha is my favorite player. Plays all 200 feet and has more skill than people like to admit.
for me he's #1 of all time. hard to imagine the hockey will ever see someone who will be able to pull all Dats play
We had the Great One, but I have never seen a better two way player then this guy!! Not even close!!

The NHL has gotten better since he left, not because he left. But because of the influence he had when he played.
The most talented player I have ever seen hands down.. The man is truly gifted in ways others are not
Well I tears came to my eyes watching him shake hands last night. So blessed to have him as a Redwing.
The guy is amazing I'm a pens fan but this guy is out of this world one of the best
Nothing will ever beat Datsyuk dangling through Nashvilles line.
That was beautiful, feels like more of a career tribute, almost teared up 😩

Pavel Datsyuk has been around since I was 10 years old. Ive watched him revolutionize the game. There is no one in the league that is stronger on the puck that pavs. He uses a shovel of a stick blade intended for defensive defensemen but dangles with it. If kids these days (mick-ism) take away anything from pavs, it should be patience with the puck. dont force plays. good things will happen. I will be truly sad when pavs retires
wow... so much talent yet so humble. Detroit isn't gonna be the same without him.

Simply the best on and off the ice.
Best hands and best 2-way player of all time.

My favourite player. 🤟
Backhand against San Jose @ 1:08 and goal against Boston @ 4:38...unbelievable, one of the greatest hockey players of all time.
Simply the best.....
wow that pass to himself in the neutral zone against Boston...just wow.
the magic man a perfect nickname
He is the best in the world...
Datsyuk. the MVP of the Versus era.
what an awesome player going to hate to see him leave !!! Always a WING in my Book
A thing that impresses me alot is how he just rips a shot right along the ice. That always impressed me. Not shooting at the crest, not bar down(even though alot of them are bar down) but that sizzler along the ice is something else
i want to cry
Паша ты лучший!
My favorite hockey player. It’s only in this highlight reel for a couple of seconds around 3:47 - 3:49 against the Canadiens it looks like: Defenseman has already been juked off his skates and is sliding around the ice on his belly, helplessly watching. Pavel backhands the shot through the tiniest opening! Goalie couldn’t figure out how he got it through, but the bouncing water bottle doesn’t lie. How many would shoot for that tiny gap? Let alone nail it!! Amazing!
Awesome!!!

This is great! We need one for Tatar now.
They don't call him the Magician for nothing.
The fact that they dont have datsyuk or Howe signed jerseys in NHL 21 is outrageous
Love this video I always come back to it
It’s almost like he can see 3 steps ahead in slow motion, and speed it up x10
Love you Pav.
Datsyuk’s career is one long ass highlight reel
magestic
The one and only.
greatest to ever play. LGRW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2:05 An epic photo of them from the 90s. "Paul and the Stereo System" 🤔🙂😉
Datsyuk is one of those players that all funs like.
Awesome! Zetterberg and Larkin next please!
He's what Zidane was for football

13 is considered unlucky, his skill defies any bad luck or need for good.

Underrated comment. They are actually incredibly similar in many aspects. Not the best of all time on their position, but still a legend, both had this medium-length carrier where it's not enough games played to be in top 5 statistic list, but at the same time managed to accumulate "HOF guarantee amount". Both considered by other players to be "one in a century" players and impossible to play against. Both had incredibly humble personalities on field/ice and of it, never succumbed to fame and insane praise by fans of not only their, but even rival team fans. Both have been somewhat not ideally built for the role, not as big, not as strong, as your "typical best players" of their position. And exactly that non characteristic build and style was used by both of them. And they did it in a manner that every coach/analyst/player would never even try to use because only naive dummy would think that one player can reliably outmaneuver entire enemy team and not get immediately shattered by veteran players who know much more about the game. They prove them all wrong, they did things nobody considered trying past high school level, they polished and refined their game so much that with one move would make everybody else on field look like clueless idiots lucky enough to witness greatness in a flesh. And they made it look so effortless that everyone who see it would say "why nobody ever tried to play like that?" because its obviously is The Way to do it.
out of everything this guy has done/accomplished, my all time favorite datsyuk memory was him whooping corey perry's ass!
I miss pav :(
WHAT A DATSYUKY IN DEKE!
Come back Datsuk, come back.
I always liked wearing number #13 the same as Datsyuk
Godlike hands
hands down the most entertaining player to ever lace em up... and an absolute thief out there too...
That video was a tough one to swallow he is under contract thru next year which may be his last go around first ballot hall of fame may even get his number retired
