In this episode, we meet the daring owners who keep pet tigers in their very own backyard. Our journey starts with Floridian, Janice Haley, who relaxes in her garden with Saber - a 600lb Bengal male - and Janda - a 400lb Bengal female. Choosing to hand feed her giant ‘pets’, Saber and Janda can’t get off to sleep unless they suckle on Janice’s finger. Next, we meet big cat enthusiast, Carl Bovard, who keeps six tigers and two lions in his backyard as part of the educational non-profit company that he runs. Carl allows members of the public to tour his house and garden and get an up-close look at his cats - one of which weighs a massive 700lbs. Finally, we’re in Texas with 62-year-old truck driver Bonnie Hart, who shares her life with two bears and a white tiger called Anushka. Grandmother Bonnie still cuddles up to her pets each day, hand-feeding them treats like cookies and marshmallows.

You are correct!! These “handlers” or “owners” are always just lucky each time they walk away from an encounter with these tigers; they are always going to be wild, and by that virtue UNPREDICTABLE!!

Exactly what I was about to comment... A particular subspecies of North American Black Bear has brownish fur. You can tell a Black Bear from a Grizzly/Brown Bear by the shape of their head and their bodies. This channel is really not deep...

I don't like the idea of animals in captivity, but I do see their point. There isnt enough wild space for them. These animals look very healthy and are very well cared for. No different to a zoo, in many ways. They are loved, and the owners are taking all the risks. I'm ambivalent about it. They are wild animals and ideally should be free, but we don't live in an ideal world.

The number of tigers in Nepal has been increased and day to day news of person dying from tiger attack is increasing. So, one can never judge a tiger too risky to handle and learn their instinct.

Before this video started I had to sit through two commercials. The first one lied telling me that my video would start soon as did the second. By the time the second one had finished I lost all enthusiasm and didn't watch the video. You-know-what you, KZread.
