This mix really came at a crucial time in my life, I quit gaming and am focusing on college. I am tired of having a low level of existence and want to do well. Its so hard to accept that gaming is no longer part of my life, and as I have no friends, education will be what I put my full energy into. This music really helped me make the transition, thank you

I been off fetanyl and meth for almost 10 months. I had to leave every one and everything and go far away where I been alone since then, I been so depressed and heart broken and I can't seem to get up by myself, this music does help me get up to keep working on fixing myself. This keeps me alright in my solitude.

I just discovered this in the midst of me dealing with overwhelming tinnitus and hyperacusis. It came about out of nowhere after a sinus infection and it won't go away. I read that through habituation you change the way our ears perceive and eventually turning the anxiety associated with the ringing with one of calm via tinnitus focused meditation and sound desensitizing. This is beautiful, and the name of the album says something that brought tears to my eyes. Oh how I long for the silence again

@@lunatech666 You should try sound generators i.e. TRT (tinnitus retraining therapy). They are modified hearing aids that emit a broad sound like low frequency static and pink noise that works to gradually desensitize your hearing and restore collapsed tolerance to normal sounds. You wear them for the first week with them off then turn them on to barely audible and then follow a treatment schedule increasing volume in increments. And I've been doing so much after I ditched my earplugs which was my audiologists first advice. Find someone that deals with hyperacusis, more neurophysiologists and certain audiologists know about it. I still have reactive tinnitus but the hyperacusis is calming down! I no longer get pins and needles in my ears from sound fatigue. I've been listening to this app my audiologist recommended called MyNoise. It's saving my life right now. Friday I go to get my sound generators. I'm not out of the woods yet, gotta stay positive! This is only temporary!

They can also help you find someone in your area sometimes even providing additional treatments to otherwise unknowing physicians, audiologists, ENT in your area. I was lucky to find this place, I wasted so much money on doctors and an ENT who had no experience or working knowledge of hyperacusis or even tinnitus. Now it's almost completely gone. Only if I really focus on it I can still hear a sort of rustling noise, but very silent. All the best for you & I hope you will overcome this. 33:56 - 35:17 part is one of the best and touching parts I've ever heard in a post-rock song, not to mention the quality of the whole album. There's A Light, you've earned yourself a new fan! Do not ever stop creating beautiful music. And to Wherepostrockdwells, keep uploading these masterpieces sir! Can't thank you enough for finding these gems and spreading them among us!
