I adore filipinas. They are some of the hottest women on the planet (Vietnamese are hottest, Latina Morenas are a close 2nd.) That said, I dated a lot of Filipinas around USAF and Army bases growing up. They are world class liars. I dated one girl for months, best sex of my life. Then her best friend (who I found out was mad because she saw me first) told me my GF had a whole family ahe had just walked away from and was using her other friends name who she was living with. So her name wasnt even true! Turns out she was married and kept bringing me back to her house to bang so her ex husband could watch us via two way mirror. Not kidding. This happened. About 20 years ago I met an attorney who was also an addict. She love bombed me, but then turned to another guy for sugar. Still for a few days I was smitten. The trick is not so much to avoid the trap, the skill is learning to cut your own leg off to get out of the trap. She died in early 2021 and I miss the hours I spent with her. I think of it as enjoying a work of art in a museum. It may not care for me, but I still may be moved by it (or her).

Well it looks like you ended up falling into the TRAP the speaker was warning expats not to do. How do you know if she was the right one if you have only dated her the past 4 years? I just can't see dating and committing to the very first girl I date. Now if I date 5 or 6 different girls I will ask the one I think is most compatible on a second date. Moreover, his story is quite common. Consider: Here in the U.S., our news channels always run feel-good stories about long lasting marriages. When interviewed the man often says it was love literally at first sight, when on a first date he knew they would be married, and many couples say the man proposed the first week they met, she said yes, and 50 years later they are still married.

Two of them work daily and have their own money, two are deep in Cebu province. 3/4 of them have 3 or less lifetime romantic partners. #6 is really brilliant and absolutely correct. I’m young enough I’m not too cynical yet but a lot don’t really love you. When they say it ask them why. Ask them what they love about you. And ask them things they should know, your favorite color, your favorite books, movies and music. Your family and best friends names etc. Now some Filipinas definitely passed the test with flying colors but most of them failed miserably. A lot of their relationships seem all about them. Also it’s harder (for them and for you) to remember important details when they’re talking to multiple people. So you can judge their loyalty that way too. They say something strange like your family in the wrong state or something she may have slipped up and accidentally said the other guys family.

Cebu is nice but crowded. I live 1 hr south. Good food, Great Malls a lot of ladies cost of living is more there. The traffic is bad. Their are a lot of expats there. I go there just to find things I can’t in Carcar Cebu. Hospitals are good there. If you have any questions I don’t mind u asking me. I live on $1500 a month but not as much as $ 2000. I think it would be hard to do that in Cebu

As a 26 year old foreigner living and working a corporate role in Manila I can assure you that you are wrong. This may be true for older, out of shape men, who go to poorer areas in hope of finding younger women easily like yourself, who can only really offer financial support. But if you date your own age, are relatively attractive and are dating girls who are making their own money (corporate job not bar girl) then the dating experience is not that dissimilar to the West. Why do you think you never see a Filipina lawyer living in BGC in her own apartment with an old out of shape foreigner? Because they have the option to date out of genuine interest. The issue is you aim for girls who are far younger and more attractive than you are. Date a 50 year old Filipina and revisit your rules.

About the same time for me married 14 years. But, my relationship didn’t happen on a whim like his list stated, accept for #4, which happens in all countries. We dated for 3 years, before we were engaged. Married in the USA, retired to the Philippines, built a 5bedrooms, 5bath, 2 kitchens, 2 living rooms, 3 stories high with a loft on top. Her father & brother live with us. Financially Stable & we support the community throughout the years 💞

@@alaskacpu Mine was not on a whim either, we also dated 3 years before getting married! we married here in PI. i built our house in 2015 and retired 2017, its only 2 bedrooms upstairs with a big terrace facing the ocean and a living room, bath and kitchen downstairs plus small tool room. its on what was my wifes great grandmas small lot so we had to make use of the footprint best we could, its 20 feet from the ocean. i worked my butt off building it, its very strong, may be the strongest small structure in the philippines ! i am not an engineer so i over did everything to be on the safe side🤣. we have 3 kids , one we 'adopted' when she was 9, shes 20 now, and we also have a 4th we support/ take care of that's related and is here 3-4 days out of the week and lives nearby. we lived on my savings from 2017 til now, i just started getting my social security. we are not rich but we are happy. we dont really have any 'community' to support , its just our tiny brngy that spends most of their time drinking tuba and arguing among each other.😆 i just stay out of it.

I just married since 3 months after meeting her one year ago. Wé growd in our love each time more and more ❤❤ after each visit in her country . We are waiting our permanent visa now. It takes patient time because philippines admin is slow slow Slow . I like her country so much and want to life there with her as ebd of my life ..

But they do love you at first site, the ATM is open for business. Number 6, ....they know nothing about you except if you just said hi to another girl you passed on the street, they know that.... cheater...

When they attach so quickly i become wary, what is the reason ? am i plan B ? someone who is going to bail you out ?
