Ace, I really dig your channel! You and The Philippines Truth are the best vloggers. Myk, Sunshine Shoulders, and Philly are fake in my opinion. I exchanged insults with Myk recently. A Russian guy was attacked by a Korean in Angeles and Myk sided with the Korean and his Filipino lackey. Keep up the good work my fellow American and military veteran! Peace from Southern California

I'd be in the "single guy" box. I disagree on "it's tough because Filipinas can hit on you and be aggressive" because that's really only true for bar girl type Filipinas. Nice Filipinas don't hit on guy. They'll flirt, start conversations in the hope you hit on them. So it's exactly like being in Las Vegas, if a women hits on you she's a pro and I just decline and move on. If you don't learn to say "no" in PH you're screwed and not in a good way. When I first started researching a move to SE Asia and was all in on "gettin' me one of these great women". But as I researched more I could start seeing behind the fantasy curtain Tubers want to present to get views. Filipinas are still women and sharing a house with one is having to deal with them 24/7. I can cook and clean just fine on my own.

#1 is worst and the Pea's latest video post today proves. They love the extended family not their spouse. It's called "utang na loob". The "unspoken agreement" with honey being received in proportion to the money being spent (no land buying, no green cards, or other up-front big payments is probably safest). Some guys petition, but I've met dozens of nearly loveless marriages that were all about sending money home and making babies for her 401k plan.

I think #1 is the best. It's the only one he says is 'rewarding'. It's rewarding to me that I've helped her family repair their roof so the rain doesn't leak in and rebuild their house. Pay the electric and water bill, money for food and rice, money for the Dentist, Doctor, phone repair, new computer, transportation, a T.V., refrigerator, fans, combo washer/dryer, etc. etc. About 15 grand out the window and I've never been happier helping people. Yes, I met her and her family. Been there, etc. etc. etc. etc..

# 5 is me - and w/o the 'movent' he implies ! -- Some travel and exploration / sightseeing and nearby where my frugal life is. Not in to bars or night life at all. Don't smoke don't drink and won't be dating. Simply living out my days in peace and comfort until the end. Relaxed and with good food. Some mingling with expats over coffee and making friends with some locals. = Just peaceful easy living !!!

Totally agree. I had a homebase about 2 hours south of MNL. Halfway between So China Sea and the Pacific. Traveled all over and had a blast. This focus on tapping Filipina is shallow existence,

I am alone, but not lonely. I only wish I could have a dog, but expect to die in 7 years. I am still happy.

You can still get a dog, at least the dog will have few good years with you and if you get a shelter dog it's likely the dog will be put down anyway so at least you saved the dog for few years and get a older dog, I though same way you do then I realized why not so I adopted a older cat, very happy I did it, also pets help us live longer!

Us expat living here married to a Filipina from bohol. We knew each other a long time before we married. Make it clear that you are not her personal ATM and will only help her family at my discretion and only if it is not a burden to me. Never tell her how much money you have/ make. Only take her to the US for SHORT visits. I must be doing something right, we have been together for 9 years. Keep up the good work, you are one of the best vloggers I have seen. I hope you monetize one day, I'd be glad to contribute so I can keep living vicariously through you. LOL

I think anyone who travels overseas looking for women are putting themselves in a high risk situation. However if you are going to do it you should hit the gym and build a rock solid physic before making the trip. Looking your best and being as physically fit as possible always improves your chances at attracting the type of woman you would want for a long term relationship and makes it less likely that you will be targeted as a free ticket to America or if you plan to live in country just become a bank for them to draw from.

Seeing all this in perspective is great help. Great video.

Great analysis. The best is a province girl whose family doesn’t need help, maybe they’re middle class already or have kids working overseas. Or some Filipinas parents died already unfortunately. I’m talking to one great girl who has a very sick and old adopted father who’s close to death. She isn’t asking for money it won’t help his situation any. She will essentially be alone after he passes and is looking to get married and have kids and build her own family.

ABC, yest another informative video. Those are basically the end result coming to PI. The first one might include girls from more major cities. Not all women hang out at clubs. Saying "bar girl" has the stigma of being a worker in the bar. As you said, you can take the girl out of the bar but not the bar out of the girl, lol.

What about girls that aren't province or bar girls? Maybe just girls that are from the city and don't come from extreme poverty but still aren't bar girls? Are they too hard to find in the philippines?

I used to work in a big hotel here in Perth for 30 years where most housekeeping girls were from Phils.. I got to know their ways,their primary goal is to send $$$$ back to support the family back home.All of them married to Aussies but some had Filipino boyfriends back there..

I prefer (now) going to bars and having short-term relationships from one night to a month or so. I lived right next to a bar in Subic Bay and it was great. I knew all the girls really well. Sometimes one would stay with me for the night because she couldn't be bothered going all the way home. I had casual relationships with a couple of them and money wasn't really an issue at all apart from a few drinks or meals. I can't be bothered now (not much anyway) with dating apps because girls are either hookers or after money, plus I'm too lazy to ride tricycles, jeepneys, buses or taxis to go meet one. Jaded I guess but still enjoying

I have a feeling my culture is too different from theirs to be successful. Standards of living/education/expectations for success are all against a successful outcome. Not worth it to me.

I know plenty who think the same may. My mentality about marriage, means that doesn't work for me. Which is why I was a bar guy for 10 years before I ended up getting married.
