I'm almost 70 and all I have to say to young women is enjoy your beauty while you still have it, act like a lady if you want to be treated like one, USE your common sense and intelligence in ALL THINGS (especially when choosing a man!), don't let your heart run your life, work hard and make your own money, and don't expect somebody to rescue you, you have to rescue yourself.

There is NO competition between older and younger now. A lot of young ones are lost and have so many issues now. No way to compete with that.

There is absolutely NO competition what so ever. You got it going on my dear. You have the smarts, the world knowledge, the life skills and so much more. I just turned 50 last month and I absolutely LOVE it. There's nothing better than knowing you've earned the right to be who you are and where you are in life. There's nothing better than having control of your life, your peace and your finances. I wouldn't go back to my youth for anything. I'm my greatest competition. Envy is for the foolish and the weak. So many young women put their value in the wrong things and people instead of investing in themselves from the inside out. It takes a knowledge of who God is and who you are to navigate this world, or you'll forever be defined by this ever changing society that doesn't value you at all. I was told as a child, "Walk into a room with your ears open and your mouth closed." You can't hear a damn thing when you're running your mouth. Be quiet and listen sometimes. You miss so much when you're always wanting to be heard and never want to listen. Good luck young 'uns! You're going to need it.
