The 1948 Arab-Israeli War, also known as the First Arab-Israeli War - is the day Arabs started its quest to destroy Israel. They have never desired to build a nation called Palestine. The war broke out when five Arab nations invaded the newly declared state of Israel on May 14, 1948, right after it announced its independence. The Arabs, who originated from the Arabian Peninsula and not Israel, couldn’t accept a majority Jewish state in the Middle East. They want to be the dominant, superior religion and couldn’t tolerate Jews as equals. Palestinians are Arabs and don’t have their own language, speaking Arabic, a language of the Arabian Peninsula. The name "Palestine" is a colonial term used by the British Mandate and earlier by the Romans. Jews speak Hebrew, a language originating from Jerusalem and Judea, the biblical names for the land. In 1967, a coalition of Arab states prepared to attack Israel in what’s known as the Third Arab-Israeli War. Israel launched preemptive strikes, defeating Egypt, Jordan, and Syria, and captured territories including the Gaza Strip, Sinai Peninsula, West Bank, and Golan Heights. After the war, Israel established settlements in these areas. When you lose a war, the victor often occupies the land until a peace treaty is negotiated. Egypt and Jordan made peace with Israel, but the Palestinians, left behind by the Arabs, have not and still do not recognize Israel’s right to exist. For Hamas and the PLO to achieve peace and nationhood, they must concede and accept Israel’s right to exist. But won't because the plan has always been the same - to get ride of anything that is not muslim. Consider these facts: -Egypt was primarily Coptic Christian before becoming majority Muslim. -Lebanon was predominantly Christian until civil wars, partly fueled by Palestinians, devastated it. -Syria had a significant Christian population, which has drastically dwindled. -There were 1 million Jews in Arab-majority countries, but now fewer than 10,000 remain due to persecution. -Iran's ruling Mullahs, who are Arabs, oppress the native Iranian population. -Islam has an obsession with stealing other religions most religious sites. Islam colonized Israel, took over the temple mount and buid the Al-Aqsa over it. To this day, they deny Jews access to their holiest site, the Temple Mount. Imagine if Christians took over Mecca and denied Muslim access for 1,400 years. Without false narratives, Islam’s history of colonialism and extremism would be exposed.

@@marvink7969 - Are you not aware that Isriael was knowing about the attack months before? - Are you not aware that, it was fully confirmed again to Israel 3 days before, when Egypt intelligence informed the Isriael intelligence about it? - Are you not aware that most of Isriaeli people in the music festival were killed by Isriael Army itself?

Israel including Judea and Samaria and Gaza belonged to the Jews in Biblical times and then they were conquered by the Romans, who exiled the Jews after the revolt. After the fall of the Western Roman Empire it was ruled by the Byzantines, until Muhammad united the Arab tribes of Saudi Arabia into a massive Islamic army that invaded and captured the Holy Land from the Byzantines, part of what led to the Crusades. The Palestinians trace their ancestry to these Islamic invaders while the Jewish people are the indeigenous people of the Holy Land. Jews used to live throughout the Middle East by the way. Not allowing the Jews to have their own country in the region is like saying the Navajo are not entitled to their reservation on a fraction of their former lands.

No Muslim country has wanted them to enter... More than 70 years. Where are the Arab countries?

When the U N partition the land in 1948 the Arab population was given the most fertile portion and the Israelis were given a strip of swamp land and a big chunk of desert. The Jewish people excepted, the Arabs did not. The Arab world set out on a war to destroy the fledgling country of Israel and lost but the population of Israel is still around 20 percent Arab with full rights as citizens. When you start a war of annihilation and loose do you really expect the other side to welcome you back with open arms? You also forget that in every Middle East country that Jews lived in for 2000 years there is no longer any presence, force out by their Arab and Moslem neighbors. What about those one million Jewish people who were turned into refugees? They were taken in by their Jewish brethren and make up about half of the Jewish population of Israel. How many Arab countries are there in the world and how many gave these people full rights within their borders. How did Jordan treat the West Bank Arabs during 19 years when they controlled the West Bank ? How many Arab and Moslem civilians have been killed and butchered by each other since the inception of the Israeli state? I support a two state solution and would love to see a free, prosperous, and peaceful Palestinian homeland but there must be compromise and sharing. The Palestinians have to stop portraying the Jewish people as European colonizers, they are not, there were a people in exile who went to great lengths to maintain their cultural and national identity during 2000 years of persecution by both Christians and Moslems including forced religious conversion and constant attempts to destroy their culture and sense of identity. They are the last indigenous people of the land where indigenous is defined by a culture, language, history, and national identity that traces itself back to their ancestors that lived in the land long before the Moslem world was conceived. Calling them colonizers is like calling Native Americans colonizers when they regain ancestral land taken by the Europeans who conquered the Americas. Let’s stop this nonsense and work for compassion and compromise so both people can live with self determination and in peace and prosperity.

The thing is unlike the people of Ukraine who are completely innocent and having their land invaded, these Palestinians chose to be in this situation, both because of October 7 and even more so because of their refusal to accept Israel's right to exist even within the 1967 borders and their seeking the destruction of Israel. Remember there will be peace when the Arabs love their children more than they hate Jews. And any Arab that deamnds the "right of return" to inside the 1967 borders is anti-Semitic and doesn't accept Israel's right to exist. There's even no such thing as a Palestinian ethnicity, there is only an Arab ethnicity that they're part of and Arabs and Muslims alreadcy have many countries but Israel is the only Jewish nation. Palestine never existed as a nation state before in history, it was simply land occupied by various empires.

I guess attacking Israel on October 7 was not such a good idea after all?

I’m sorry she had it so hard but she still lived to be 86. She’s older than my American grandmother. The whole interview, she never called for the release of the hostages. Are we forgetting that there are hostages, including American hostages? I will not feel any sympathy for them until they show consideration for the hostages. They should be calling on their leaders to release them.
