"There Are People That SHOULDN'T Be Let Out!" | Ian Collins CRITICISES Prisoner Early Release Scheme
A new proposed early release prison scheme to free up space in jails across England and Wales could cause high risk offenders to be released early, including some prisoners that are considered to be a risk to children, says a prison watchdog.
Retired prison governor Vanessa Frake thinks prisons are “jam packed” and the early release scheme is “nothing new”, as former Home Secretary Jack Straw implemented the same policy in 2007 which lasted three years before being shelved.
The previous scheme allowed prisoners to be freed between 18 and 30 days early, but under new proposals, this could be increased to 70 days.
Frake says: "We have the worst re-offending rates in western Europe, but there are a lot of people in prison that should not be.”
Ian Collins questions if rehabilitation has actually even been properly implemented or ever worked.

What is the point of a Criminal Justice System is any old Tory PM or Home Office Minister can override a sentence. Build abd staff enough prisons and get to proactively stop criminality by reducing poverty
