@Ventricosa The King I think they were more referencing the fact that it generally takes a while for recent graduate students to make a name in private practice or having a clinic all to themselves, and less about Kruegers age - appearance. I'm also a psych student close to graduating and I expect the growth in clinic to be quite slow on the first years

@@Givalita the reason client is used or should be used is bcus to the person getting treatment, being called a patient can imply that your receiving treatment out of nessisity which implys something inherently wrong with them that they thenselves cant help w. That can stagnate their personal growth makeing them feel estranged and worsen self esteem. Calling them a client implies they are being served as someone whos on equal grounds w the provider. Nothing to do with word jargon as much as it does w psychology behind how words can have multiple implications of a persons status in the situation. Which is important with psychological therapy.

This is one of my favorite kinds of villains, attractive, charming, polite, and overly calm even when it comes to horrible things. The eyeball discussion perfectly represents this.

Krueger: For this section, we're gonna play a game. A very classic one. Manly: ...Kirby? :o Krueger: It is called the shell game. Manly: Oh... :( I share your disappointment, Manly.

Btw there's actually a lot of dialogue changes in the second playthrough. For example when Krueger gets called on the phone instead of saying "You don't need to kill it." he says "You don't need to put her arm in the oven." The main character also notices more things like connecting the eyeball with the screaming woman and somehow knowing that Krueger is from G2 before he tells them. It's also implied during the closed eyes part that Krueger isn't close with anyone other than his patients for some reason and that he felt lonely growing up since he was an only child. There's a lot more little changes that made going through the game again fun for me so I just thought it was worth mentioning.

Two things. First, the good ending makes sense in a weird way, he said he despised mediocrity, not when somebody does poorly. Do well, and join him, but if you antagonize him, he'll feel a sort of affectionate rivalry, as with his college friend. It's actually relatively common but often goes over people's heads making them just think the person doesn't know the answer

The last ending leaves you in an odd spot, assuming Dr. Krueger truly means to keep Taylor as a pen pal, he saves them from the main sinister ending while hes still continuing his vile therapy/interviews unbeknownst to them of what his true intentions were. . Interesting 🤔
