    There's such warmth, beauty, depth, and sincerity to Lana's voice on "Margaret". Like many others here, newbie moi is looking forward to sharing in your Lana journey from the beginning. So much great music lies in store for you, Mere.😊 Lana has evolved so much from the Born To Die era to Ocean Blvd. (from her "gangster Nancy Sinatra" persona to just being herself like she is these days) . Your own heartfelt reactions are just as priceless.😊

    Some of the lyrics in the lyric video were a little off I think! But I really love this song and most of the lyrics were correct 😅 sometimes I wish Lana posted official lyric videos. This will be the perfect wedding song for Jack and Margaret 💕💕💕 it has such a classic sound and vibe. I especially love Lana’s little words of encouragement near the middle 🥺

    It's a very mediocre contrived love song probably pushed by Jack to make. Doesn't even actually song good. That's because it's not a match made in heaven. This guy Jack is a over hyped fake Bruce Springsteen type singer who got married to a real catch of a woman. Typical fake Hollywood match maker stuff . Don't give their relationship very long, they don't match at all. Lana just trying to hype up this blah relationship. To bad Margaret threw away her potential with this guy. Probably just a starter marriage imo. Who cares, definitely not an anthem. Millennial fake love song

    I also love this this song,and have been intrigued by it's meaning. Hence why I'm here. I'm not a therapist, but a doctor. I enjoy a small dose of providing therapy, and the associated biopsychosocial analysis of why a person is presnting the way they are. But I can only manage small amounts as I find I'm too much of an empath. I suffer vicarious trauma when I have a mental health heavy day, and feel so depressed for a few days. Respect to you all therapist and psychiatrists for managing to listen to people's traumas all day long. You're built from a different cloth. Much respect to your profession...

    3:00 I might be interpreting this too deeply as well but i feel as though the meaning is Should he jump off the building now " ie should he fall for her and give into the love and the good life" or should he do it on the double in a more literal sense because he knows if he doesnt fall for her life isnt worth living and if he falls in love it may end with him wanting to have just jumped that day he met her to avoid the pain he knows shell bring when he loses her or if he does. Basically to say he cant live without her which is why the love is in trouble. as in its a dangerous love. Because he knows no matter which way it ends without her he would not be here.

  • @TheTsexy1

    @TheTsexy1

    Ай бұрын

    I agree. I think roof top could mean the highest point, and feeling very good. White dress could mean wedding or angel dress. Should I jump off - to me was like, dang should I just let go of my fears and jump in both feet in and give my all to this woman. Like is this the turning point of my life? And connecting this particular line with when you know you know, it's like he had a strong feeling and believed she was the one, and knew he had to pick one of the 2 options- Margaret or not. And a relationship with Margaret being the jump.Either way, whichever way he chose, that moment would be significant for the rest of his life. If he jumps, it could be the best thing ever, or end up badly if they broke up. If he doesn't, it could be something that will forever think about, and perhaps regret not jumping/not takinga chance. And he would always wonder if she was the one that got away...

  • @TheTsexy1
    @TheTsexy1Ай бұрын

    I agree with most of your interpretation, but with Jack's part, he sings 'word to my friends, With their red flags, their white knights, Their black eyes and their blue lies If you're asking yourself, "How do you know, then thats your answer, the answer is no.' I am female, but I think from a male perspective, he gave really good advice. I don't think he is saying if you don't feel it at first sight, give up. Interpreting it all with the preceding lyrics, I believe he is cautioning - be mindful of pretentious white knights, walking red flags, who will tell blue lies. And if you've been with them and loving them, but having that feeling of doubt, don't try to convince yourself and stick around with the hope that things will change. Trust your gut, and just let that relationship go. Someone who is meant for you will make you feel like you're the one. You just know, you can just feel it your bones. You don't have to wonder. I think it's a really healthy way to approach relationships, instead of being with the wrong people for years and being disappointed when you break up, and then they marry someone else in an instance. In comparison to Lana's lyrics, when she says maybe tomorrow youll know, I'm not sure if she is referring to knowing with a current a relationship or with someone new. As much as I love Lana, and her music, passion and her persmistic optimism, I do think that sometimes her message sends unhealthy response vibes. That's what makes also her beautiful and relatable. I find her lyrics complex, and a display of someone who is a contradiction. She is not afraid to be vulnerable in her music and share her flaws, whilst she also thinks she is that girl all at the same time. We've all done things that we shouldn't because we were afraid to lose someone, being alone, lonely etc. If she is saying yeah live in the moment with that person who doesn't feel right now, because it feels good and maybe they'll be right tomorrow. Just hope for the best 🤞. Realistically for most people, that cannot be sustainable forever. At some point you will want more from a partner who may not be willing to give more. At the end, you'll have to decide which way is forward, with or without said person and risk extending your ongoing disappointment.
