Therapeutic ceramic sculpture process from start to finish - Woman as Vessel series
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Hi, this is Wanying Liang. I am an artist based in upstate New York. I record the process of how I work on ceramic art sculptures. The videos are mostly slow, quiet, sometimes might be boring, but you may find them satisfying to watch, too.
I hope you enjoy and please let me know if you've got any questions in the comments. Please subscribe to my channel for more videos on ceramic art sculptures.
Thanks for watching and I'll see you soon with a new upload.

As a clay artist since 1995 and surrounded by the rich heritage of North Carolina clay artistry, I have seen a lot. I curate my taste of other clay artist that I follow based on skill and intellectual depth. Your work is of a caliber rarely seen. The skill level and intellectual depth is such that you open up the viewer to perception and concepts of perceptionism. Your work is both art, science, psychology, philosophy, theology . . . It addresses the debate of a polarized system trying to understanding polarity. Symmetry and asymmetry, singularity and dualism. Please keep posting videos. Your work will amaze human perception the world around. It’s such a balancing experience to take in and speaks millions of words without speaking at all!

I used sony A7 II. It's relatively old model, you can try a newer model. They are great!
Is it porcelain, or white stoneware?

Technically impressive but I just don't like them. I have been doing clay for40 years both functional and non-functional.

Wow thank you so much for sharing your opinion! Maybe you could elaborate more on why you don't like them personally instead of using your own experience in pottery as an argument for that?
