Hi, this is Wanying Liang. I am an artist based in upstate New York. I record the process of how I work on ceramic sculptures. The videos are mostly slow, quiet, sometimes might be boring, but you may find them satisfying to watch, too.
I hope you enjoy and please let me know if you've got any questions down in the comments. Please subscribe to my channel for more videos on ceramic art sculptures.
Thanks for watching and I'll see you soon with a new upload.

All this time, you are working hard on your own art, getting videos ready, being a Mom, an artist, and a "You Tuber". Did you also know how much of an inspiration you are to others? At 63, I came to ceramics and fell in love. And one of the biggest reasons how I did that was by watching your work here. You are more than what you think, and your voice and your art matter.

Hello Liang. While you did the rolling clay slabs at 1:51 min, you had a metal tool in your hand which measured and cut a round clay flat shape. What is this metal tool called? Thank you. I’m watching your video in Denmark ❤️

I actually posted a video before on making a damp box. Please check it out kzread.info/dash/bejne/na6Jw7Wqns3Sqdo.html . Any kind of plastic should work to trap moisture. I usually spray my pieces once a day, depending on the humidity. You will need to check the condition of clay. After finishing building, spraying the pieces helps with drying slowly and evenly.

Hi I'm a freshman majoring in pottery and I have a question.🤓 When you attach undried objects to semi-dried objects or attach semi-dried items are attached to each other, you use a slip. But when I make it, if I attach things that don't have the right humidity to each other, the attachment always crack in the part where the two pieces were attached with slip. How can I make it perfect like you without cracking the attachment part?? It's a really important issue for me to solve😢🥺
