Theodore Wirth - North Loop on the Fezzari Shafer

Riding the North Loop (also called the Back 40) on my Fezzari Shafer gravel bike. I hesitate to call this underbiking because Wirth is actually very doable on a gravel bike. That said, most of the experienced riders out here are on short travel full suspension XC bikes and I'm on a rigid gravel bike with 45mm tires, so I guess it counts as underbiking.

This is one of the best mtb/gravel videos I've seen. Thanks for posting. I was between the Fezzari Shafer and a steel gravel bike, and since I already have a carbon mtb I decided to try the steel. This bike is definitely on my list for bike #3!!

Thank you, I really appreciate that compliment. I've been wanting to see more mtb/gravel videos of my local trails, so I decided to some myself. The Shafer is a spectacular bike, it'll be a great bike #3!
What build Option Fezzari Shafer did you get? I'm going to buy one, thanks

I got the X0 Transmission one because I wanted a mountain bike groupset, but that was before Shimano released their GRX derailleur that works with MTB cassettes. I upgraded the wheels anyway (to carbon wheels), so if I did it all over again I would build it from the frame up with a Shimano gravel/mtb mullet groupset.
Is this bike made for single track? I have a lauf Seigla and thinking about getting one of these or the lynskey gravel bike. Thanks

It's not exactly made for single track, but it does just fine. The frame is tested to XC bike standards and it's meant for gravel racing (and there's some pretty gnarly gravel races), so I have no worries bringing in on reasonably tame single track like Theodore Wirth.
