My dad had a speedboat and was a rope on trailer vs cable years and years ago. Rope snapped and came back and hit his eye. Been blind in that eye ever since🤯

Hello I was hit by a hard tennis ball while fielding in cricket 3 weeks before ...my vision is almost recovered but I have developed a floater in my right eye and I feel very irritated and anxiety Do you think with time the floaters will eventually sink down or my brain will neuro adapt it...how much time will it take

It sounds like you had a PVD - Posterior Vitreous Detachment from the hit. Definitely have your eye care provider confirm there was no retinal tear. As for floaters, yes they often "settle" and/or your brain learns to ignore them. I have a whole video on floaters as well.

Thanks you very much You are spreading positive information on sensitive topic More blessing to you from India. I just hope I learn to live with floaters and not get depressed about it.

Is it possible that since it's been three week to my injury and my retina is still inflammary or swelled that is the reason for floaters and after 3-4 months if it properly get healed I won't notice them

Dear Dr. D, I have been hit by a string in the centre of the right eye ball 14 days ago. Two doctors have checked my eye with tropicamide and slit lamp: no damage, no hyphema, no commotio retinae, no vision impairment. I was lucky. However, I have been having eye pain, headache on the right side and tension in the temporalis muscle and temples for 14 days now. Doctors could not explain why. You were talking about a shift of the fluid of the eye in this video: Might that be the cause of my eye pain and radiation of pain from eye to the temporalis head region? Will I ever heal from this?

You should look into BVD. Binocular vision dysfunction. Very often missed by eye doctors. It's a very very slight misalignment of the eyes. Caused a host of issues.
