Imagine finding a woman so beautiful back then. I mean, would you even know such beauty was possible? Maybe you got lucky and saw a painting or someone before knowing it was. But I can see how love at first shit happened. You'd never seen anyone so gorgeous when that lady walked into your village or whatever.

Katherine should've honestly traveled her soul inside an apex predator like a hybrid or an heretic if she was still around when the heretics got introduced to the show. But knowing Katherine she wouldn't know how to control the werewolf or Witch side because she's used to being a vampire but on the other hand she's a fast learner and she adapts quickly even though she already used strength and vamp speed as soon as she turned so I'm pretty sure she'd be able to adapt to her new abilities quickly since she's been around a very long time and she has tons of experience and knowledge abt each supernatural creature's

it would be impossible for her to be either if those. to become a hybrid you have to be born a werewolf and to become a heretic u need to be born as a siphon.

Same here. I honestly felt so bad for Katherine during the time I was watching the show. Elena thinks she had it so rough losing friends, family just about anyone she cared about because of vampires! But she didn't have it the worst out of all the other characters on the show!! I think Katherine had it the worst out of all of them. Because she was always on the run from Klaus because if she stopped running for just a second to have a life like Elena got to have one with many people that cared for her and what happens to her. That is literally all Katherine wanted out of life!!! She wanted to be free from Klaus because I'm sure running all those years just for survival was no walk in the park! She deserved happiness like everyone else got theirs. Yes Katherine did a lot of terrible things but it was for survival. It all had a purpose she didn't kill people just for the thrill of it. I'm sure she didn't even like having to kill! But it's like she always said "better you die than I." Or something like that. It's been awhile since I have watched the show. But I did always love Katherine's character and her back story! She was very interesting In my opinion. I didn't like Elena as much... even though they are both played by the same actress lol that's how good of an actress nina (Elena/Katherine) really was! She had amazing talent at playing both characters. I also remember her playing other characters but I don't remember their names. But they were other doppelgangers like Elena and Katherine. But I have to say Katherine was always my favorite doppelganger. evil or not she still had a heart especially when it came to Stefan!! I still miss this show it's worth a re watch of the whole seasons when I have a chance for some free time I will for sure give this show another watch. Because I just love Nina Dobrev(Katherine/elena) and I also really loved Damon Salvatore(Ian somerhalder) he had amazing acting as well! They all did really!!!! This was a wonderful show. ❤❤❤
