The four doppelgangers were never related by blood. Someone said that the doppelganger effect was nature's way of finding a balance.

​@@vasilina1404 She was never seen in TVD but they did talk about her though. It was the episode where Elijah, Klaus, Damon, and Stefan had dinner together. Elijah and Klaus talked about having their very own Elena triangle but with Tatia who they both loved at the same time.

There should have been others in between but they just never crossed paths maybe due to dying somehow or something happened that prevented them from finding each other. Because somehow and someway a Stefan doppelgangers and a Elena's Doppelgangers are supposed to find each other in their own generations. Like Tatia for example she was a widower she had a son with her deceased husband before she was accidentally got killed by Elijah. There's speculation that Tatias husband could have been her own Stefan and their son went on living to carry on the bloodline. Katherine was supposed to find her generation doppelganger soulmate but they never crossed paths due to killing herself and becoming a vamp and mostly being on the run from Klaus. By the time Stefan came along he was supposed to find his own generation doppelganger but it didn't happen instead it ended up being Katherine and she completely uprooted his life so he didn't get the chance to meet his. Elena's generation doppelganger soulmate was supposed to be Tom the medic which they would have eventually met considering her career choice was to become a doctor. But Stefan found Elena first and a lot happened and then Tom ended up getting killed because of the Travelers.

Talia in my opinion is the prettiest

Also, thanks for reminding me some of them existed in the same century and not every 500 years cause those were actual mothers with their daughters. Not just doppelgängers. Also, you’re saying Amara gave birth? Aaaannddd, since they appear every 500 years, someone probably existed in btw Amara and Tatia that we don’t know about? 🌚 Also, I’m just realizing the only one who was never immortal at some point was Tatia. 😂😂😂😂Damn! its been said that Tatia already had a child from which possibly Katherine emerged. It is totally possible that Katherine had cousins of which there is no record because Katherine didn't knew (also it might not have been there in Bulgarian records of Petrova family doesn't mean family doesn't exist) until she met Isobel and discovered that her daughter is a doppelganger like her or how Qetsiyah condemned Amara and her shadow selves to exist in nature and this is nature's way to balance out doppelganger ( but 2 doppelganger exist at same time in form of Katherine and Elena), so the family tree somehow continued distantly.

The bottom form were all doppelgängers, which means they were kind of like cloned all looked alike. Nadia and Isabel were part of the same bloodline that the doppelgängers were a part of but they were not doppelgängers themselves.
