I need to get something off of my chest. In this Anime, the main character is Kouichi Sakakibara, correct? However, they make it seem as if Mei Misaki is the main character. They put her in every single picture I see that has to do with the Anime. They might as well make Mei the main character. It seems like she was included on for her doll eye she always hides. Like, she was only put in to tell Kouichi about everything that was happening, and to see who was dead. Why is she so important? Was it because she was close to the first calamity victim, Misaki? Well, other people were close to Misaki as well, so perhaps they put Mei in there just because. Mei isn't in as many pictures that Kouichi is in.

Well, the protagonist for anime always seems to be uninteresting, so that the watcher can place themselves as them. They're a balnk slate for the watcher, while mei is the interesting one with character.

I just finished watching this anime and it was scary as hell but still fucking worth it because I loved it !!!!
