It is , pat Bateman style . What I want to know is when they refer to 'rugged' land operations specialist. Are they refering to the land that is rugged that he is surveying or is he a rugged man? If its meaning his prowess then they could not of said anything as macho as that. Almost as if they had of said 'grizzling' garden expert or 'chiseled' farm master . The description is proper , proper macho almost comical on an will ferrell Anchorman level

I'm a 90s kid from China, born in 1992. I was lucky to have watched this animated series during my childhood, and it was really good. After school, the first thing I did at home was turn on the TV to watch this show. In China, it was called '正义战士' ('Justice Warriors'), and they said 'power extreme!' in Chinese, which was '神力无敌!' ('Invincible Divine Power!'). When I was a child, I used to shout '神力无敌' ('Invincible Divine Power!') when going to the bathroom. These memories are truly precious and filled with happiness. However, it was unfortunate that the show got discontinued due to the NATO bombing of the Chinese embassy in Yugoslavia. It disappeared completely from Chinese TV, and they didn't even finish broadcasting it.

This is one of my favorite shows ever and nobody talks about it. Yes, I loved Thundercats as much as the next kid or more, too, but this show...this show fascinated me as a kid looking up to men. Men with toys. Men who are manly men. (And those twin towers...man.) it still fascinates me to this day. And Ace McCloud. Ace is the reason I fell in love with planes and my dream as a kid of becoming an Air Force pilot (not Top Gun surprisingly). The special effects still hold up, too. What an amazing show.

Several little things made this one of my favorites. Back in the day when you'd always have the hero stand still while performing his entrance, this was one of the few that gave a reason as to why the villains didn't take the free shot. In that the beam that sent them their equipment was a also a kind of shield. And also that human failings was the reason for Doc Terror's inability to succeed since the two parter where his AI supplants him the robots start trashing the Centurions until Ace is the last one left. Which was a decent lead up to them deciding they needed two more members...and more toy sales options.

Of course, the economic situation in China during that time was indeed different from today. Earning around 100 RMB per month was quite common, and spending several hundred RMB on a set of toys was a significant expense. As a result, very few Chinese children had these toys, making them extremely rare. This also made the toys owned by those children extra special and precious. Thank you for sharing these valuable memories and insights.

I don’t want to disappoint you, but I think a live action series couldn’t display the action in the the same way like cartoon. Even in nowadays with good cgi, this simply wouldn’t looks good enough to give goosebumps like the cartoon. But yeah I also wish they could bring the old cartoon in streaming platform.

I always liked how that missile in the end spun around and hit that Doom Drone despite said drone initially avoiding it. Also, Ace was my favorite Centurion, though I am partial to the Skybolt weapon system.
