Indeed!
Just saw this at the Seattle international film fest. The acting was great, so heartfelt , and a lot of fun action movie parody moments. Highly suggest!

Even though we're in Australia, we have a subscription to the Washington Post - they had a review of this movie and I'm hoping it'll come here. I definitely want to see it! Thanks for your comments about it.😊

Yes. I read that sadly it was his final movie. What a great actor.
Just came back from the theater and I absolutely LOVED it. It's the film that gave me the most joy all year round. It's heartwarming and oozing with charm.

AMEN TO THAT!!
People keep saying we don’t have any original movies, LIKE HELLO? WE HAVE THELMA!
I can't wait to see this movie. I talk to scammers all the time - even real Grandparent Scammers. Awareness is the key to keeping everyone safe from these scammers.
Just watched it at AMC early screen. AWESOME indie movie. Highly recommended ❤
Absolutely loved this movie, saw it in a community where the majority of people are elderly folks, it absolutely killed, very funny without making fun. Full of love, empathy and a sense of adventure. Deeply uplifting but underscored w a sense of melancholy about the perils of getting old. highly recommend!
So, is she the BEEKEEPER'S gramma?!
OK I love this concept 😂 for sure gonna watch
It's definitely reminds me of both of my grandmothers they were a force to be reckoned with they were both very strong women and you didn't want to mess with their grandchildren
Hot damn why did I not know about this film until I was at the theater. BEST MOVIE OF 2024 SO FAR!
GET EM GRANNY!
This looks so fun!
I’m crying
This sounds amazing
What a pretty unique concept, a action movie with grandma as the protagonist
HILARIOUS 🎉🎉
And just like that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, I'm going to the movies...........................................

More like a lighthearted and non-violent take on The Beekeeper.
😂😂😂
I know that’s real!!! They messed with the wrong one.
Spoil me. Are there any shootouts or fight scenes, or does anybody die in this movie, or is this a lighthearted and wholesome movie?

Nobody dies and there are some fight scenes at the end. The move has Shaft in it after all. Do you think they’re gonna have him just sit around 😂

@@SolCresta3405 Yes. Stick around through the credits for a postscript: brief footage of the real Thelma, Margolin’s own grandmother, whose near-scamming inspired the movie and whose endless curiosity and zest have been imported intact to her namesake.

Maybe see if any movie theaters near you do discount Tuesdays or something? It's definitely worth it, and it helps support these movies and let them know we want more like this

The movie was okay….the previews in theaters looked like the movie was going to be better than how it was but it was decent. Not bad but a the same time not the best movie
