I can only speak for myself about the resentment aspect(not so much)..but it's also that in African Traditions the term 'Witch' has a very specific application which just wouldn't be technically correct for most practitioners

That's exactly how I view Wicca. In ways I can make a huge defense speech for both modern day water down Wicca and New Age. They are amazing gateways for younger people to study deeper into the Occult.

Yes, I believe he got a charter for a group directly from Crowley after the war. '46-'47.

I just recently started with all this spiritual shit I was atheist for years but Thelema really spoke to me never looked into Wicca or anything. I always thought this shit was kinda weird but Ive started getting really into it. I blame psilocybin.

I always thought Anton Long's Rounwytha initiation sounded derivative of Gardner's (imho rather questionable) story of the New Forest Coven.

Hey, being a thelemite, have you read any of roberto assagiolis works? Although not obvious at first, i find them extremely relevant to crowleys ideals on will. I highly recommend you read act of will by roberto assagioli, and if possible an addressing of these concepts in relation to thelema and your thoughts would be awesome. If you do happen to check out act of will, be sure to give chapter 8 (titled love and will naturally) a read, the free pdf is available online.
