Based off of a novel by Wei Yu, 'Xi Exiting Yumen', this series was a enjoyable thrill. There's an indescribable aura I got from watching this series, similar to when reading the book. It encapsulated the themes of fantasy, romance, adventure and action amazingly well together. Although the romance storyline was somewhat fragmented at times because of the many different focuses, the leads made up for it with their outstanding chemistry. Not really wanting to give away any specific spoilers since the drama just recently finished. Highly recommend reading the book as well if interested.

I love this series, and Chang Dong and Liu Xi are such a great couple. Bai Yu and NiNi have such great chemistry. They created such dynamic and strong characters and powerful relationship between the two of them. Thank you for this beautiful video!

Thissss I love it the way they look at one another makes my heart melt I am halfway into the drama and I do wish they had a greater focus on the romance like they just started to become a couple 💓💓💓 great job capturing the love part of their story it was lovely fr

Its 38 eps I know it may seem like a lot but it goes by really quickly with all the different events happening. The romance isn't always the driving force in the drama but its has a large background focus throughout majority of the storyline. Hope you give it a look.
