This is why when i put engine in place an tighten it up real good i lock the screw heds to each other so they cant get loose

The camera was fastened nice and tight and that's what's important.

I've seen several of these. One would think, with all these warning videos ab boat engines falling off randomly, that people would (1) start verifying the security of their engines and (2) instlal some sort of tether that permanently attaches the motor to the boat.

Remember the old guy who most likely rents out boats for a living? He sits at home watching his bank account while poorly trained teenagers work for him for minimum wage with almost no training. They can “inspect”, but only with quotations because they don’t have the training required to know what to look for. But hey, capitalism means you can’t run a business without underpaying your workers who are not trained to run a safe business because “no one can run a healthy business with safety for them and their customers while being profitable to the owner and shareholders.” What a crock of lies distorting the American dream.

Go to any boat launch and hang around, you'll inevitably see an old guy, bent and broken from working his life away in a factory taking out his little John boat. He's got a few good years left and he knows it and just wants to go out fishing for an afternoon, but time, heartache and headache have taught him the hard way to be slow and methodical in his inspection to check EVERYTHING, twice even maybe, while the "chads" at the launch laugh at him, shotgun another seltzer and take selfies. Most (maybe all) states require a boaters license for anyone born after Jan 1 1975, I got mine, and it was free online. Lack of education falls solely on the operator. It's abundantly clear you look for any reason to shout "DOWN WITH THE EVIL CAPITALISM" likely for no other reason than that's what you were taught/conditioned to think. But capitalism isn't prevalent in every facet of life, certainly not surrounding boating safety and education. At the very core is this video, the transom clamps were loose and fell off. Should've absolutely been identified before launch.
