It's okay. That was also me when I first time listen to them 😂

I'm 60+years old...and I normally hate rap....But....I love BTS...the fact they are so versatile in their music styles just amaze me. As for their dancing I just wish I was 40 years younger as I would so love to be able to dance like them. Mic Drop is one of the first I heard and it stunned me and so I looked into other song by them. Dope and Fire were the next I heard along with Bulletproof pt 2. Now I'm hooked on BTS and have just introduced them to my 7 year old grandson 😁...much to my husband and daughters horror as they aren't fans. My grandson loves them too and watch their mvs together....good times 😊

Rose, you sound just like me! I never gave any attention to rap or hip hop in general, but it was Mic Drop (along with Daechwita) that drew me in! I can’t get my sons to take BTS seriously, but maybe one day I can introduce the next generation😁

Next time you react to BTS videos kindly put your CC (closed caption) ON for you to enjoy the lyrics. You should also check/react to their solo songs. We (ARMY) will support/join you to your BTS journey. 💜

You got all the names of the guys right, I'm impressed usually it takes awhile for someone to know them like that! Now you need to watch it again with captions on so you know what they're saying and that will make you like it more. Keep up the good work!

the mic drop title came from Pres Obama when he did this interview and he drop the mic after giving a strong statement. u can see RM said this on the making of this MV.

Oh my... I really wanna recommend Mic Drop live performance. But I don't know why, it disappears when I leave a link directly in the video comment. Anyway, to explain a little bit about the background of Mic Drop, BTS is from a small company that almost went bankrupt, so they have been very looked down and hated by Korean broadcasting stations and other K-pop fandom. So they have struggled from the beginning to prove themselves. It's a song for their haters. I hope you read the lyrics. :) The direction of Mic Drop's lyrics began with the idea of J-Hope, the main dancer and dance leader of BTS. :)

Please watch dynamite next... It was their first English language single. They got nominated for a Grammy last year for dynamite. Euphoria by jungkook is also a really good song. You should watch jungkook's live performance For Euphoria, you'll be totally blown away by it!!! They also performed their latest song permission to dance at the United Nations this year. Yes, you're right, till now they have 3 English songs and all of them are feel-good songs since those are songs people of every age normally listen to in the west. I mean summer bop type. But their Korean songs are hard. The MVs, Choreo, Singing, Dancing, Songwriting, Message everything.

Mic Drop is one of my favourites too. The other song I love to get me going in the morning is called Baepsae (Silver Spoon). If u want to see a little of their personalities I recommend the dance practice. Also the Halloween dance practices for some 🤣

I agree that Butter is a good song, but nothing next to Mic Drop. And, while their singles with MVs are all great, you’ll discover some true gems once you start getting to their B sides!

Some members are overrated except rapline, you might not realize this in your early journey but once you know each members abilities then youll notice it but thats only when someone can think objectively

@Cooly Idk if you mean that some solo stans overdo or that some BTS members deserve the fame while others are overrated. If you're talking about the solo stans I'll say that I completely agree on that part. Specifically nowadays, on every new reactors video people spam about one or two specific members only which gives new fans an idea that only one or two are the main of BTS whole others are like backup singers and dancers lol. But you mean the later then I'll disagree and say that not all of them have every talent but they definelty contribute something special and that's why they are BTS, a group, not some solo artist.
